Adorable!!! Adorable!!! I Love LOVE your 13 yr old daughter!!!! Wow!!! They make us feel and look Old...hahaha...lol....hahaha....You can tell she has been raised well by your wife and you, Shawn. Very happy Teen who loves her Dad & Mom. This song is one of my all time favorites of Whitney Houston who is one of the best female voices in music History and has over 10 No,1 Hits.....she set the standard of female performers although many are not living up to the standard......she is a legend!!! R.I.P. Whitney. I am sure God will comfort you over there in paradise.

An amazing song! Queen Dolly and Queen Whitney! No need to pick a favorite! Nobody tops Whitney’s range,so she makes this song soar! Dolly wrote the lyrics, and has such a tender and sweet way of telling her bittersweet story. Both singers hit you in the feels, in an individually beautiful way!🎤🎼👑👑

This was one of the songs Dolly Pardon sang the comedy, musical movie Best Little "H" House in Texas, it was written and sung by Dolly when she left the Porter Wagner Show to go on her own. Great cover by Whitney.

Back in the day, there were "albums" and "45s". The "45" referred to 45 rpm which was the speed the turntable played the record at. 45s typically had only one song on each side whereas, albums had typically 6-8 songs or so on each side. Albums played at 33 1/3 rpm but nobody referred to that, they just called them albums. The term "b side" usually only referred to 45s even though albums had two sides as well. Usually the "a side" had the biggest hit and the "b side" had a lesser known song, but sometimes the "b side" became a hit too.

Well, if you want to bring a tear to Zoey's eye, you might try Terry Jack's "Season's of the Sun" or tell her the story of Eric Clapton's "Tears in Heaven" before playing it. I'm loving these family reactions!

The song was written by Dolly Parton. She was leaving her spot on a TV show. Her boss was upset. She gave him the song as a part of her settlement. Dollys version is much softer. Both are great.

I think when you play covers, it would be interesting to juxtaposition the original and the cover. For instance, with this one, the Dolly Parton version which is more of a ballad.
