I came across your recipe while looking for variety for my unleavened bread during this week of unleavened bread. Your video is beautiful and the bread looks delicious. But I am sorry to inform you, but it is not unleavened. When you let it rest, the yeast is developing. That is why your small ball became larger. There is yeast naturally present in the flour. Letting it rest for an hour allows the rising of the dough. Unleavened bread is traditionally made in 18 minutes or less from start to finished flat cooked unleavened bread. This is because after 18 minutes, natural yeast starts to rise the dough. This is a great recipe for flat bread, but it is not unleavened. Hope this helps you as it did me, years ago, when I started making my own unleavened bread. Blessings and shalom from NE Alabama.

Shalawam! My dough definitely does not grow in size. I let it rest just for the flavors to develop. I’m currently making homemade bread for the Feast of Firstfruits which is made with yeast and the bread has doubled in size when I let it rest. On Passover this recipe is just flour with oil and seasonings and does not grow at all. You’re ok with following this recipe 😊

Shalom! Sweeteners should not be used in unleavened bread because yeast consumes sugars. Sweetened bread dough can become leavened over time. Leviticus 2:11 No grain offering which you bring to the LORD shall be made with leaven, for you shall burn no leaven nor any HONEY in any offering to the LORD made by fire. According to Exodus 29:40 the correct recipe is: "One-tenth of an ephah of flour mixed with one-fourth of a hin of pressed oil" Leviticus 3:12 And every offering of your grain offering you shall season with salt; you shall not allow the salt of the covenant of your God to be lacking from your grain offering. With all your offerings you shall offer salt.

Shalawam sis! The first night is the Passover (only allowed to eat lamb, unleavened bread, butter herbs abs wine) and the rest of the week is the Feast of Unleavened bread so you can eat anything you want that week, as long as it doesn’t have leaven in it. Eating lamb on Passover is a big NO. Yashua fulfilled all the sacrifices so we must not do this. He is the fulfillment of all the Torah sacrifices. Yes we continue the feast minus the Animals sacrifices and eating lamb on Passover and No alcohol which is leaven rich grape juice..
@NANA-fh6we9 ай бұрын
Shalom! Yahshua fulfilled all righteousness by being baptized in Matthew 3:15. I’m sure you don’t think that we are no longer called to be righteous and that baptism is now done away with. The reason we can’t sacrifice is because there is no temple, but that doesn’t mean we can’t eat lamb on Passover. If there was still a temple, the animal sacrifices would remain. Just as how Paul intended to sacrifice an animal, but was arrested due to false allegations that he taught against The Law, before he got a chance to do it. James was the one that told him to do it. (Acts 21: 18-26 {Numbers 6: 1-21}). When Yahshua returns to establish His millennial kingdom, He will restore the temple, sacrifices, and the priesthood (Isaiah 56: 6-8, Isaiah 66: 15-24, Jeremiah 33: 14-23, Ezekiel 43, Ezekiel 44, Ezekiel 45, Ezekiel 46, Ezekiel 47). Some of these sacrifices will even be for sin (Ezekiel 42:13, Ezekiel 43: 18-27, Ezekiel 44: 15-27, Ezekiel 45: 13-25, Ezekiel 46:20).
@LatonyaStar19 ай бұрын
@@NANA-fh6we The only thing done away with are the Sacrifices Dan 9;27. It is a Heresy to eat lamb on Passover for Yahshua is the Lamb of Yah John 1:29. The problem with the Hebrew Israelite community is factions and arrogance. We are not the chosen first off all are called and few choose. Yah created all of humanity and we are all the spiritual Israelites, if we choose to accept him in spirit and truth searching the whole scripture we will no matter our skin suit or DNA be saved. The Torah speaks about even the visitor taking part in the Law of Moses if living among them Ex 12;48'. Let's be careful to not spread false teachings and mislead. Better yet let's all seek Yah for truth and understanding for ourselves.
@NANA-fh6we9 ай бұрын
@@LatonyaStar1 Yahshua is indeed the lamb of YAH. He also is The Bread of Life and manna from Heaven (John 6: 33-51). This does not mean that it is heresy to eat bread. Fulfill≠abolish. Yahshua fulfilling the role of the Passover lamb doesn’t do away with the actual lamb more than Him being the bread of life does away with eating bread. I’m not sure about the other part of your comment, as I didn’t mention anything about that. Perhaps you confused me with another person maybe?

The point of the feast is to eat unleavended bread to remind you to stay pure and holy. You're not supposed to try to make it look or taste like other pastries or breads. Just flour and water are the ingredients you need. There's a reason and purpose for the removal of yeast. It's supposed to remind you to stay away from sin, and be conformed to Christ (in the New Testament context) who is our Passover Lamb and our unleavened bread. God bless.
