Cool. For European satellites such as HotBird 13 East, Astra 19.2 East and Astra 28.2 East your dish will work perfect. Those satellite can be received even with 40 cm dish, but in order to receive all transponders a minimum 60 cm dish is enough.

Same dish as a VIASAT dish, I use three of them. My others are HUGESNET dishes, I use two of them. Works great!

I suspect my hughesnet 36" will do good. I got the avenger universal lnb and am waiting on a bracket exactly like yours. My dish did have a hughsnet lnb so I made a template to reference when putting the avenger on.

Smart idea about the template.

What is LNB skew?? What is the importance of setting lnb skew
@NorthcoasterHobby7 ай бұрын
It is the rotational angle of the LNB. Satellites that are further east or west are lower on the arc have a greater skew angle. Your ‘zero mark’ is the highest point of the arc- right in the middle, forms a 90 degree angle with the horizon. Helps to capture maximum signal as it aligns the antenna elements in the LNB with the wavelength of the satellite’s signal.

Just curious where do you parts for it

How long can you run the coax between the LNB and the receiver before signal is degraded?
@NorthcoasterHobby5 ай бұрын
@@brendanb1541 if your dish is aimed correctly, then you should be able to run at least 100-150 feet of coax without issue.

What is the difference between lnb skew and focal point
@NorthcoasterHobby7 ай бұрын
Focal point is the spot on the satellite dish reflector where the signal is most concentrated. I explained this in the video.
@edwinmcguire60407 ай бұрын
Focal Point is the Distance from the Dish to the LNB. Skew is the Rotation of the LNB either Clockwise or Counter Clockwise from a 12:00 position. Looking from the back of the LNB towards the dish then rotate LNB, CW or CCW. Hope that Helps.

What is multi sattelite search in receiver
@NorthcoasterHobby7 ай бұрын
It's to scan more than one satellite at once. Used when you have multiple dishes (or LNB's on one dish) aimed at different satellites all connected to one receiver. Here is an example: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pJ2lg59rfN6JhJI

What is the focal length of Ku band DISH and how to fix it
@edwinmcguire60407 ай бұрын
Depends on the dish.
@NorthcoasterHobby7 ай бұрын
Every dish is different. The best thing to do is adjust the LNB while looking at a signal meter. Or measure the LNB distance on an identical dish.
