gr8 vid. i have a 2001 maxima with same transmission in it. about to sell that car with 243k miles. it still runs. transmission I think has valve body problem or solenoid problem or burned out 4th gear clutch or bad torque converter. its lost 4th gear Overdrive. but still able to move on 1,2,3 and R . I made it drivable with 3x trans drain fill with 1k miles between each using valvoline maxlife full sync ATF and Locus at some point I added Seafoam trans tune. and all that made it drivable under its own power. just trying to get a little bit more out of it.

Does it just not try to go to 4th or does it neutral when it should shift to 4th? If everything else is working properly and you only have no 4th, you have a solenoid or valve body problem. The band works 2nd and 4th. If third is good the only thing that needs to happen is the band to come back on, and we know the band works if 2nd is good.

hello sir i saw your video i think it is fantastic leather rich . i have a nissansuny GA 16 .....i have problem with gear box reverse (R) me slip backwards ..i have new clutch plates with this i ask you, what should i do to fix the R. backwards

Thanks. Your problem is probably in the reverse drum. These are bad about the cushion plate wearing into the drum and causing apply issues. Also could be the tube in the stator is turned. I would look in those 2 areas.

Any idea why these shift hard 1st to 2nd? Otherwise it drives fine. 99 quest automatic

Check the ground for the pressure solenoid in the pan. It wil be the only solenoid by itself. By the manual valve. The ground attaches to one of the bolts that holds it in. The crimp will be loose. Clean it really well and solder the wire where it is crimped.
