All this work performed in a low flat- footed squat ...impressive. And, the little green hat is styling. He makes it all look easy which it isn't. Just try having a diesel engine repaired here in the good ole USofA...$$$$.

Good job, using old engine oil on a restored engine is not good and the engines are screwed together on the ground, I wonder how long these engines will run before problems arise again. But there are good videos.

Don't get me wrong I Loved the video ! ! and the Diesel did run so it's not all bad. But my first attempt at rebuilding a motorcycle engine was a two stroke Yamaha 90 and it didn't go to good just because I used no assembly lube or oil. Started, ran for a hot second and that was It

LOL, uses hammers and pry bars is probably not the best thing for the engine. A real Torque Wrench is probably needed as well. I would not have tested the engine without coolant. The engine might last another 5 miles after its put back together.

if you use a screwdriver to break your head loose. Diesel engine or not. You're a bad mechanic. You use a wide surface so you don't trench your mating surface. Sometimes you do what you gotta do, but not with all the room in the world like /that/... Using a screwdriver? Really? the power tools at the start and the dropping of fasteners into a bucket said enough. What a hack.
