Love that you bring out all the technical talent Hua uses in his performances. Every note he sings brings unique twists and to top it off with exceptional interpretation and presentation of the performances. It's hard to know when to pause for comments as it disrupts the mood. But do understand why you have to pause.

The difficulty of his performance is not only singing skills. Singing, acting and playing piano at the same time is the most difficult. He still performs so impressive. He is an incredible genius.

I love your reactions to Hua Chen yu very much, you are really good at explaining the technicalities. And I love how you said that you thought you had him figured out as an artist, and by watching him perform again, you observed that that wasn't the case at all. You can still watch a ton of his pergormances, and still not know the debt of him as an artist. He is so interesting and unique. And I am pretty sure he wouldn't fo anything that would hurt his voice.

Foram os únicos que não deram risada quando ele gritou rsrsrs, ele toca muito bem sim, na China eles tem um "Enem" que é a única maneira de entrar em uma faculdade, o Hua conseguiu entrar em uma universidade de música, ele toca piano desde pequeno. Essa música não é dele, perem, o arranjo foi ele quem fez... Ele já mudou várias músicas e colocou sua própria identidade nelas, ele é um artista e um dos melhores que eu já ouvi.

Thank you for your sincere and thoughtful reaction, just like always. Hua is a very special performer and this is one of his best if not the best. The level of intensity and raw emotions required were painful for Hua and only someone who had gone through what he has could perform at this level. I've provided a little background in another comment that may help you know a little more about Hua.

To provide a little more detail on Hua. His parents divorced when he was two and he lived with his father, who was an executive who not only worked long hours but was often away on business trips. His father would not speak a word of praise or affection to him the entire time he was growing up. When I say "not a word" I mean not a single word of affection ever. He handed him off to nannies to raise and they only communicated when his father checked his grades or asked him if needed anything. Even harder, his father remarried and had a daughter that he doted on even while continuing to ignore Hua. Growing up under such deprivation Hua became anti-social, angry and depressed. He wanted love from someone, anyone, but for a long time despaired of ever receiving it and distanced himself from others to prevent them from rejecting him like he felt his parents had. It was only music, creating his own melodies and lyric-less songs for hours and days on end, that enabled him to cope. Hua found it painful to prepare for this performance because the memories of those darker times kept coming back. The producers did not want him to perform the song. Hua himself thought there was a real chance that the audience would not accept it but he wanted to share his struggle in hopes that people might reach out to others who were in need. At the end of the episode, Hua's performance took second place. There is a happy ending to this. His father opened up once when Hua was a teen to admit that he ignored him so that Hua would make his decisions for his life completely on his own, without worrying about what anyone else thought. When Hua came to fame as part of the Superboy competition his father appeared on an episode to support Hua. He admitted all of what I've written but said that he now wanted everyone to know that Hua was his pride. Hua said that hearing those words were far more important than winning the competition. He dedicated that night's performance of "I Will Always Love You" to his father, ending it with "Papa, I love you."

This song is another level, just far beyond the normal song, its art! Like your technical analysis of Hua chenyu’s voice in this song. But i think singing with emotion is probably one of the most valuable skills. Such a seemingly simple vocal skill is not easy. Hua chenyu is the one who always delivers the song with such feel, gusto and passion to you. It would be so nice if you try "Ordinary Path" next time.

Love your reaction. Yes , Hua is not a simple singer but also a real artist. He puts the whole heart in his music evertime. You can receive much more things than technique, that is called "feelings" o "soul" in his songs. Hua is very easy-taking guy in his ordinariy life, but serious and perfectionist to his music. The name of the song "Fake Monk" in Chinese has an extended meaning, not related to religions. It's about kind of double personality or someone suffering the conflict between faith and reality, thought and action, lonely and social, honesty and hypocrisy, love and hate, angel and demon etc. You can get more background of this song and about him from the other messages.
