As someone who was on silver for a long time and ended up getting gold, my advice to you is just pray that you have a good team and weak opponents, no matter how well you play, you are not capable of winning 1v5. play from the map, on some maps certain characters are very often used, such as Lijiang Tower, Lucio and Pharah, to push enemies out of the map, spam into the passages. in fact, there are a lot of nuances, but I’m A) too lazy to write them. B) they have little influence on the outcome of the match. If you learn to play counter-picks as they joke now (counterwatch) and understand why you are losing the battle, this will be enough. Play in the ranking only during calibration, then you will rise in rank faster. P.S. take rests in single player, as I say nowadays overwatch is not a game, it’s work, even in a quick game you can rarely meet weak players.

If your supports are killed by a tracer, Ana is killed by a tank, the supports don’t want to take Kiriko, how are you going to solve two problems at the same time? What if the team goes through the same passage like idiots and falls off the map for 4 minutes in a row? overwatch is not cs go, you are not capable of killing a crowd alone.

You have to stop queuing with them if you want to climb. Play with them on an alt account for fun, play solo or duo on your main and focus on YOURSELF

@@HomelessCoaching From a ball perspective hog and sombra players are just dumb and can be played around with caution. Mei and brig are fine against ball. Ana is the only one I have a problem with because against ball sleep dart is the ultimate counter. When your play style forces diving the back line sleep dart ensures death, especially paired with hack or hook.

As a tank player you need to know how to play every tank if your high elo because of the dog 5v5 format. I remember being able to hit top500 playing only winton in ow1. Now you counter swap to win games or else gg.

I disagree. There are still some tank players in top 500 who one trick, and there are more who stick to a small pool. Rank 33, 34, 39, 42, 48 (and more) for tank in NA in s11 were all one tricks. Rank 28, 57, 65, 70, 77 (and more) for tank in EU were all one tricks. Then you have players like Jkaru19, who played 11 hours of winston and the next most played was 20 minutes of wrecking ball (so basically still an OTP), finishing top 10 on EU ladder at the end of last season. Knowing how to play your heroes and adjust based on the comps you face is much more important than playing all 12 tanks.
