+whovian 101 It's funny, i actually really love this Doctor. To me we finally get to see what so much horror and nightmares have done to him. I love that he's a bit older, he brings a weird feeling of real age that we didn't get with Matt. And I love the weird and kinda awkward relationship between the Doc and Clara. Also that he's always kinda angry. Did i mention i love Peter Capaldi?

This is where I stopped watching 5 years ago. Thanks to this recap I didn't have to rewatch season 8, because honestly I'm not sure I would make it through again, there's a reason why I stopped watching. I didn't really like the new doctor, eventho I love Clara. But now it's time to give it another go, I heard the ninth doctor might be coming back, and I would watch that. I've also been curious about this woman doctor ever since that was revealed, but I still didn't feel motivated enough to keep watching the old man doctor. But darn it, I like Doctor Who, I should keep watching before judging it. So here I am watching this recap so I can continue the series :) Wish me luck.
