While I understand different people have different taste in character but like how tf are Nahida, Candace, Collei and Tighnari’s demo the same energy? While Nahida and Collei and both playful and childlike, Collei’s demo focused on the playful side, and Nahida’s demo focused on the purity side with some darkness of her situation. Candace’s demo focused on the Egyptian theme and her gentle personality and I think Tighnari’s demo focuses on the nature theme

Nahida was a 10 outta 10. You're looking for oomf and personality, and Nahida's demo had those, just not in the bombastic ways. It was a gentle trailer, reminiscent of the gentle god Nahida is, not to mention the music, editing, and pacing were absolutely on point.

Girl zhongli is supposed to be calm and displays a very authoritative power, it can't be like raidens because he has stepped down as a god, he is no longer morax or rex lapis, but if he still was it'd be like raidens

Unbiased but put pretty much every free spirited character demo on top of the lists... sure. Every demo tailor made to match the characters personality, not to show that editor having fun or whatever. Some demo even tied to the archon quest lore. Like Itto, Ayato, Nahida.

Another example is Kokomi. I don't like her character but i enjoyed her demo since it matched her and it was really beautifully made. I would've put her on pretty solid. But hey the "unbiased" part was half true half joke since tier lists aren't unbiased in the first place lol

Zhongli's role in the story is very different to that: his demo conveys power, but in a way that's more composed and elegant, as opposed to Raiden's which is more focused on being intimidating and, well, overwhelming. So no, Raiden's demo is not what Zhongli's wanted to be: Zhongli's demo is what Zhongli's wanted to be.

I can forgive the top tiers being oversaturated with cutesy trailers. I can forgive Raiden's trailer being A instead of S. I can even forgive, though bitterly, that Zhongli's trailer isn't much higher. But putting Tighnari's trailer in MID and saying Collei's is better is a sin I CANNOT forgive. Big L for chat there, too.

Everything else aside.... Puting Zhongli on Mid should be a crime... His demo literally had a short intro, about a guy literally talking about his, meanwhile he listening pretending the story isn't about him, already says a lot, then the music popping of, the rhythm of the music and scenes not to mention the 2d dragons the put in the demo made it a full package. It was definitely not the best ever, but I feel nothing aside from Klee and Hu Tao before Inazuma, can even compare to it

Tier lists are always biased in some way, because they are highly subjective. What I personally don't understand is your take after the Nahida trailer. On which metrics are you identifying that the recent trailers are not made by people anymore who loved mihoyo? Especially after you just watched the Nahida trailer.

Of course, there's a massive disparity between the early ones and the later ones, both stylistically and in how much of the story they involve. The PVs only really start to includes story elements in the run-up to the Battle of Schicksal, I noticed. Also I'm unbearably hyped for 6.3. New Bronya, even though I feel like I just got HoR's new equipment set.

Yeah.. She did said that it will be controversial placement for some of the placement.. From my own opinion, of course I would differ from her (surprisingly not really much differences, maybe just less than 5 demos that i might beg to differ, but it all because from my own bias as well xD). But from what im trying to understand, Mina has tendency to rank the demo purely from how she is feeling engaged when watching the video demo, hence why she leans towards the more upbeat, comedic, fun demo, not easily swoon over by beautiful visual, animation, music, etc. From that, I can agree with most of her choice, in fact, I can guess all her placement correctly (incorrect guess only by one tier above or below, also she herself have a change midway in the video as well haha).. But it's all good. I like this kind of video from her. It really scream Mina xD We only have to know that, we all free to agree or disagree. It's fine if we don't like her tier list, complain is also fine. I mean everyone has their own preferences and we can do nothing much about it.. But the point is, I won't force Mina to change just to suit my taste if I disagree with her. It's her choice and I truly respect that. Keep up the great work Mina, Ganbare

One of the most enjoyable videos i´ve seen on the "Genshin Demo Reacting". Maybe I could be very wrong, but around 2.5 to the end of Inazuma there was a lot of negativity towards Genshin in the worldwide community. Maybe it affected the enjoyment and creativity of the developers. With Sumeru they tried to make a better job, and they actually did, but at the same time some things feels more scripted. But since the waters are calmer now, maybe they were having fun again with the last 3 demos.

I think inazuma arc is where genshin had bit of controversy but still growing in popularity. They had a much better run in Sumerian arc.
