I think the Stellaron Hunters have a very unique teaser, Blade and Kafka's were overall Chef's kiss in terms of their fights and battle music, Hoyoverse put so much love into these trailers it's insane.

Jing Liu's trailer is so underrated. They hide so much details such as the frozen high cloud quintets and jingliu's shadows beneath the iced lake. One of my personal favorites.

Jing Yuan's collaboration with the stelleron hunters during the Ambrosial Arbor Crisis was his way to test both Fu Xuan and Yanqing and build their characters (FX being too one-track minded when it comes to solving problems; YQ being too stubborn to retreat when faced with overwhleming forces). However, most of these moments were overshadowed by either major/minor characters who constantly speak in riddles or flashy scenes that are done for shock values.

Danil's trailer was kinda always doomed to be overshadowed, be it Kafka's or because of the cutscene during the xianzhou quest where he literally pulls a Moses and parts the sea: that WAS his trailer.

The only bias I can see in this video is how bias Hoyoverse is for their Stellaron Hunters. Sure, there were other good trailers, but they went wild with the Stellaron Hunter. The only two comparable trailer are Seele's and Topaz'. While Seele is Seele. Topaz seems to be real odd one out.

I think the fact that most people who watch Imbibitor Lunae's trailer walk away with their biggest impression being "Wow! Phantylia looks really cool!" is testament to it having failed to really sell you on the character all that well...

Everyone simps for Kafka, and I get it, but Blade's is the best trailer Hoyo has ever done. The visuals, the music... It's too good. Between that and his trial, I went from skipping him to needing to pull him. He's my Silver Wolf. Seemed super tryhard edgelordy and after the trailer and especially the Jingliu quest was a complete 180.

I didn't get the Jing Yuan hype until the Phantylia fight when he started talking mad shit in the middle of the fight. "Are we still ants to you, Phantylia? All this effort to crush us and met with so little success!" Jing Yuan isn't a character I want to use, I just want him on the sidelines of every bossfight, heckling the boss with his amazing voice.

I really like jingliu's trailer. Not everything has to be upbeat or fast. Shes a very sorrowful pained character bound by old promises struck with mara. Shes suffering every step of the way, only this tone fits her right. I dont know, maybe i just have an odd preference for slower more emotional character based dilemmas rather than fast paced but that is why jingliu has my favorite trailer not to mention the astetic. Also if anyone sees this my i ask what flower that is that jingliu wears

I gotta confess that i have a bias towards Topaz's trailer because it was the one that indirectly got me into the game, there were many HSR trailers randomly appearing every time i clicked on a youtube video and i always skipped them but that specific trailer piqued my interest about the game and is the only one that i didn't skip, then i watched more HSR content out of curiosity and i started playing like 3 weeks ago

My favourite is still Seele's. It's the first limited character teaser, and it still gives a standard character a major part to play. Love that it displayed the teamwork of our favourite Skirmish Sisters. Bronie's had a lot of nice little touches as nods to more classic games, and of course, I had the 'oh no they didn't' reaction to her playing herself. She even has an _HI3_ style victory screen. I would rank Himeko higher and Luocha's lower. There doesn't have to be a lot going on in a trailer, as long as it carries significance, and Luocha's poses more questions than it answers. I would also put Bailu's lower since there's so much water reference even though there IS no Water-type DMG in the game. It'd take much longer, but I think you should rank the _HI3_ PVs if you can. While they tend to get better over time, there're obviously some that get more care, and the styles of APHO Ch2, Part 1 Finale, Return to Nagazora, and Part 2 Sneak Peak are huge shifts stylistically.

My subjective ratings would be close to yours. Except I would just put Jing Yuan's and Luocha's higher. Topaz and Jingliu lowered to ok. I thought Topaz's was whatever, it was a bit funny, but didn't make me feel anything. Also I don't like her as a character. I Love Jingliu's personality and kit, have her, but I thought her trailer was underwhelming, the music at the end carried it for me, and the jump crash into the ground near the end. Fu xuan's I liked and LOVED the soundtrack, it should have showcased more like her skill animation protecting her squad getting hit and her passive animation to foresee the monkey's heavy attack and survive. It felt too short, but it was still good.
