A big thing he's always incorporated into his writing is the cyclical nature of depression and other mental illnesses -- that you fight so hard to break out, and that's great, but you're still gonna wake up and have to do it again tomorrow. I think that's why there were so many flowers in the drawer. I believe it shows that he's working through the same cycle he's been through, over and over. It's a part of you, and you can't really be cured of these things, but you can find ways to cope, particularly with those that care about you and/or share the same struggles and will choose to fight with you, by your side. The hour was late, and everyone was asleep (mind you) and that's when the cowards came to drag him back down, make him forget and then he will wake up and start it all again.

YOU, out of everyone I've seen, seems to grasp and relate the most, I'm so so happy they you could pick up on so many things, idk if you're still confused or spotty on some details but I'll try my best to help Yellow is used bc bishops can't see yellow so they use it to hide and protect them (jumpsuit has yellow on it, using it for cover), bishops are the red hooded figures, the main one you see if nico, or blurry face, calling back to last album, bc it was shown in that album, Tyler calling someone blurryface, being that entity of insecurities and fears for him and being under his control when his neck and hands are black, later in this album finding how real name Nicolas bourbaki(Nico), the leader of the nine bishops (Nico and the niners), dema if the city they rule and control, keeping it's people trapped inside, dema being a type of depression, the whole picture of these videos which might seem more apparent hearing the full album, is a cycle, not really giving up, Tyler always has a struggle, but something that helps if music and making music, BUT the best music he makes it when he's going through things and pain (music helps his pain, but pain also helps his music) being in dema hurts and you can loss yourself, but even when he gets out, he knows he'll eventually have to go back so that he can make music, why he gets dragged back at the end, it's a constant cycle of dipping back in and out.

I loved your interpretation a lot and how you payed attention to the details! The album “Trench” is very much about what you just said. You should definitely listen to it once it comes out, there’s so much meaning hidden in the lyrics that adds onto the storyline, I’m not sure if there are more music videos coming but the songs in the album will definitely continue the story!

Nico and the niners are the bishops, and this history is inspired by clancy, the banditos are the yellow guys, and they use yellow cause the bishops can't see that color bc that hurts for that, trench is the name where the banditos live, is like Dema, the place where the bishops were, actually, the theory suggests that nico (the bishops leader) us blurryface, because he marked tyler in jumpsuit song with the black color, but OK, the storms starts from car radio to my blood ( yeah, you will tell me that my blood doesn't continues, but yes, the concept of my blood is the continue of the story)

The guy on the horse, Nico is his name, he represents depression, and he is Tyler's bishop, Yellow is the rebellion color for them, Bishops can't see yellow, and chlorine is like acid to them. Hope I got that right, I'm a big fan of them. Such and such, their story will go on forever. Edit: and the yellow tape represents like, how people will give compliments, they help, that's why Tyler never puts Yellow tape on himself... other people have to do it Becuase it's like a compliment and it *Levitates* the other person into happiness from depression

Fantastic reading of the trilogy for a first view. Nico and the Niners are the nine bishops of Dema, a metaphorical city of depression, anxiety and mental illness, personified by the bishops. Yellow is hope, his friends, the banditos, are giving him those hopeful things, forming his jumpsuit. Him getting dragged away at the end is the metaphor that it's all cyclical and sort of a never ending fight. There's a ton of lore behind these. Neon Gravestones (another amazing touching song from the album) is also kind of referenced physically in this video, as the bishops gather around one. But yeah, spot on reaction in a couple minutes that it took me tons of deep diving to get all of.

anxiety and depression are monsters from candy hell. they trick you with sweet relief and rob you, btw, you look amazing having just finished crossfit. when i was really into workouts I was a Insanity nut and a P90X. Thanks to some war wounds (seriously - Afghanistan and Iraq trips left me with some souvenirs for life). Besides that - to rush in after a workout and post your vids - DAY-UM you're good! We missed you and appreciate all your hard talents!

It's awesome that you do Crossfit! I used to go for a few months and I loved it; made a lot of progress on my body and such. I gained 14 lbs of muscle in 7 weeks (I'm constantly around 50 lbs underweight for my height because my metabolism doesn't let me gain any fats from food lol). I had to stop because I couldn't afford it, though. The black on the hands and neck symbolize his insecurities about what he writes and the sound of his voice. There are *so many* things that the people in the red cloaks could represent: Haters who drag him down because they're even more insecure than he is (even more black paint on their necks and the sort, the music industry and the people who run it could potentially be critiquing him and taking away his happiness while dragging him around to do what they want him to do, and of course there is also the likelihood that they represent all of the negative emotions and thoughts in his (and many other's) head. The first video we saw his fans - and his closest friend who led them - showering him with yellow petals (or happiness/positivity). This shook the man in the red and allowed him a chance to run away from all of it. He was even running from the happiness (I don't know if that's actually symbolizing something such as running away from the happiness, people who support him, along with the thing that drags him down simply because he sees them as correlated, *or* if it was just coincidence). The second we saw that the people who support him were helping spark a revolt against these people in red cloaks (there could be many people/thoughts that drive you to insecurities and dark thoughts like suicide such as depression, anxiety, self-hatred, etc...). They ran off and strapped more positivity onto the jumpsuit. I see the jumpsuit as any medium in which t.o.p. can communicate with their fans. "My jumpsuit is unsteady" could mean that he doesn't *always* get the kind of support he may need to feel better about himself because it attract haters as well. "My jumpsuit takes me so high" could be speaking on the fact that his fans are the reason he can get so high, but in doing so he also becomes more depressed because while there are more fans when he's popular, there are also more haters spreading his insecurities around: "I'm higher when I'm heavy". The third and final video we see that he's away from all the negativity and is surrounded by his friends and fans and people who support him at night. They all keep giving him positivity through his jumpsuit, and so he starts talking about how just a little help can make you levitate and fly away from the fire. Every word of positivity or love counts and helps people, including him. But he also says that he feeds on the negativity (doesn't elaborate on as to why, but we can all theorize), which is why he doesn't fight it when it comes to him. He also mentions that cowards only come around later at night when everyone else is asleep. Meaning the haters, people who run the industry, or his negative thoughts always come after him when nobody is around to support him. There are a lot more details I could dissect in all of the videos, but I feel like this theory has stretched on long enough for one comment XD So, I'm going to stop here and hand you a bouquet of sunflowers and yellow roses

Nico (the first guy in red on the horse) and the Bishops (Other ones in red) represent things such as anxiety, fear, all that, and so they pick Somber Colors such as Red, while the Banditos ( the ones in yellow) are ones resisting the Bishops hence while they pick Yellow a color representing Hope and such. The reason why the Bishops were forging lights is because they want lights that are Controlled, and are not vibrant. So they Banditos have Torches which is because that light is bound by glass, and made by things not forged. Also he mentions "don't feed me to the vulture's, I am a Vulture who feeds on pain" talking about his music is Successful Because his music is about Suicide, and Depression, and why you should fight it, so he looks at it with at his work as if his music is bad for that reason

It has to be a war internally being a very successful artist and tell a story about creative light found in darkness. I give them credit for that. Society wants people to stay silent about dark things, and that itself is pretty sad. He sacrifices himself back to the darkness. Maybe its not about physical death at all?
