I love Hiro. He's so desperate to act adult but in doing so he ends up being such a brat too while at the same time being quite self aware and mature in his thinking. He also went through an experience that no one, least of all a child, should go through and he feels soooo much. This will be even more noticeable in time. I love our sheep boy.

Poor Hiro, he is not just jealous of Tohru because Kisa loves her so much and he has to share her attention, but because he has to try to stay away from Kisa, while Tohru can be with her as much as she wants to. Akito definitley seems to be jealous when someone is in love, but does not just hurt the girls. Hatori was wounded by Akito and Yuki was also mistreated, and they are both men. But I get what you are saying, Akito seems to not like women too much.

Btw you’re correct about the crepes. The crepes are like the French crepes, like a thin tortilla. But they roll them up like an ice cream cone. They are filled up with fruit, cremes, ice cream etc. Often they have very cute look. They also sell savory flavors. I highly recommend them lol.

Thailand has something similar that street vendors usually sell warm right off the hot plate. Sometimes they make them into little crepe "packages" with an egg-bannana mix inside that is sooooo good!

The akito talk is so interesting especially w you clocking it’s always physical when one of them gets into a relationship. Akito’s clearly misogynistic w him always physically attacking women even tho hatori got in the way of him attacking kana. And tbh it’s important to his character w the way he abuses the others. One of his worst attacks on a character is coming in s2 and I can’t wait to see your reactions to what he did.

I actuallydon't think its misogynistic. That's why I think Akito is a girl. It seems more of an insecurity thing, and I don't think Akito hates women. I think that's a little unfair. Also, pls be careful with those spoilers!

I didn’t think it would be seen as a spoiler cos it’s kinda clear akito is an unhinged individual and I didn’t give any details but I’m sorry I’m just excited as it’s one of m fave episodes. I’d defo call him a misogynist considering the way he spoke about Tohru after he met her (calling her a stupid girl and such) and the way he speaks about women in general tbh I’d definitely say there’s a hatred there and even if it isn’t hatred the way he acts is misogynistic as he could have just attacked the men asking but specifically goes after Kana and Kisa instead(not to say the men aren’t victims of akito’s abuse they totally are). Ofc he’s a very complex person and defo agree w your insecurities and jealous vibes but I think it’s both things feeding into each other imo which partly is why he’s one of the most interesting characters in my eyes (even if I can’t stand him lmao) I can’t wait to see what you make of him by the end cos you guys give such good discussions on it. Sorry this got so long I just have many thoughts on fruba

@@Ems001I think the fact that Akito targets women does not make Akito a mysoginist. hat's just my personal definition. Just because he seems to be targeting women doesn't mean anything. He would have to be biased against women because of their womanhood. This seems like jealously and if a guy was "taking" his loved ones away from him, he would freak out as well. Personally I feel like he’s definitely targeting because of the fact they’re women as due to his jealousy and I feel like a lot of his comments towards fem characters are mostly down to the fact their women cos he hasn’t make them gender based towards men (at least that I remember maybe momiji saying he doesn’t like him and he is quite feminine compared to the other soma’s considering Tohru thought he was a girl) but it’s interesting hearing the way you see it. Like as I’m a woman so it’s a difference in perspective as I’d totally read a guy who says things like him as one irl so it probs is partially to do w that as well but idk that could be a debate about sociological things idk much about lmao but thanks for the points it’s interesting I hope my points made sense I’m not the best w structuring comments

So, I finally had the motivtion to caught back up with you guys. Stuff to do aside, Ritsu's episode has this capacity to suck my interest evrytime... I'm glad to hear your thoughts, you have good insides ! Hiro is a sweet character. He's not in middle school yet and can't contain his feelings well. Even some of the older ones, like Yuki, can't. He'll grow with the proper care and environment ^^

To be honest Hiro is one of my least favorite characters. I just don’t find him that interesting. Mostly he is just a snobby kid that slowly becomes more mature. I like him better at the end the series but I never loved his loved his character as much as the rest of the cast.

Also, absolutely no spoilers but Hiro is one of my least favorites in the show looool. He's just always a grump but he does have his moments.... especially in the last season, he has a sweet moment or two. But meh. Hiro is just a little grump and kinda a lil douche and I don't like that kind of character... although his main draw for me if anything is his love for my sweet lil baby Kisa 🥺🥺🥺 But for fave characters besides Tohru and also being team Kyo, In order of my babiessss I just love Kisa, then Haru and Momiji tied, then Rin/Isuzu, and then lol. I guess after that Hana and Uotani, because Tohru has the best friends of all time. Especially after the back stories. 😭😭🥴
