The 379 is going to Great Northern on Moorgate services. It isn't out of service

The Class 379 only ran on overhead lines, so I can’t imagine they’ll run on the route to Moorgate. Remember that the area between Moorgate and Drayton Park is third rail. Btw: it’s a good thing the Class 379s are coming back to service, given that they’re only 13 years old.
