Ozempic is the last thing she needs. Ozempic is not the answer anytime anyone has a weight problem. The answer is for her to stop binge eating and cut her caloric intake to 1500 calories per day and to exercise. That’s literally all she would have to do.

And she could buy a washing machine. Give it one month with no door dash would probably save her over 1k a month. Not to mention she wouldn't be as hungry on the med.

@StrawberryJam806 the answer is for her to stop binge eating, I agree, and ozempic is a tool that can help pull her out of her clearly harmful binge cycles. Ozempic isn't a magic drug by any means, but it's a tool within the toolset, and you shouldn't ignore a tool when it would be useful.

****August 2024 Update**** First thank you to everyone for all their supportive comments. Its so awesome to see that O2B has such a great following. As of today August 15 2024 my current weight is 425lbs. Putting me at a total of 90lbs lost this year. its been a slow journey with plateaus and back slides, but Im determined to keep going. ***Previous comment*** As someone who started out 2024 at 515lbs just like Amber. Im proud to say that I am already down to 470. I recently started OMAD and it has been a huge help and finally feels like something I can sustain for a long period of time.

As someone who has watched amberlynn for a long time, my theory is that she's perfectly fine as she is. She's creating the low effort content that eveyone tunes in to see, it pays her bills and allows her to order doordash multiple times a day. She has no responsibilities outside of KZbin, she doesn't have to show up at a traditional job. She feels the societal pressure to lose weight she knows she should lose weight, but without outside intervention this I doubt we'll see much change.

I really don't think she's fine. I think she's very depressed and has been for many years. From my perspective it seemed for years that she had not had any really enjoyable activities except food, which seems to be her main if not only coping mechanism. I kind of get it. It's not like she can go out and do something. She's stuck constantly faced with herself, she doesn't really get breaks from the reality of her body and health. And you'd think this might kick you into gear to make changes, but how if you're already miserable and making changes means taking away the one thing that makes you feel some relief? Especially in the last few years since she's racked up a list of health issues that will probably never go away and will forever need to be managed. I completely agree she can't do it without going into in treatment. She simply can't. I've been saying this for years, her body and psychological state are at a place where I don't really see anyone climbing out of that on their own. She needs professionally trained people who will help her with medications, and just physically and mentally being there for her when the feelings get too big to handle and she just wants relief, to learn how to handle, process and that she can be ok.

I think you're right that it was only a few seconds before she started eating the cake again. You can tell that the whipped cream looks the exact same as it did before, still has some shape. Whipped cream does not stay in its shape for long, let alone a few hours. If a few hours went by, even if it was in the fridge, it would have sunken down and made a little pool of cream. Also, she reiterated a few too many times that it "has been a long time". Liars add in extra detail thinking it will make them seem more trustworthy and honest.

I do feel like Amberlynn "forgets" she's as big as she is and that causes her to think maybe she doesn't need to diet or lose as much weight. I describe it as a version of body dysmorphia because I've experienced that myself before losing 175 lbs. I would carry myself in a way that I truly never saw myself as big as I was. I can tell ya, it's a dangerous place to be, because your mind is tricking you into not accepting that you NEED to lose weight or you could die! I'm always rooting for ALR to get her mental and physical health in check. That is more important than her KZbin "career" imo 🤷🏽‍♀

That’s EXACTLY what happened lmfao. Last video before she quit ozempic was her buying a three tubs of keto icecream (the kind that gives you major gastrointestinal issues when consumed in a larger quantity). Then she said her doctor told her to stop ozempic because her gallbladder had sludge and that it was due to her fast weightloss (dead*ss losing 2-4 lbs A WEEK 🤡). She stopped because her stomach hurt from gorging on the icecream, told her doctor, and decided to stop. She even stated over and over how she wasn’t increasing the dose because “she was so scared”. She got tired of not being able to binge.

Ok, so this is just a theory, but I'm going to throw it out there anyway. I feel like Amberlynn likes having weight loss as an overarching goal in her life so she always has something to strive for and doesn't have to think about anything else and actually sit with her emotions. That's why she always talks about losing weight but never actually does, because she's subconsciously scared of what will happen once that overarching goal begins to disappear. Just an anecdote from my own life. I ended up developing very nasty health problems back in 2016 and spent the last 8 years focusing on getting rid of them because they were ruining my life. Consciously, I wanted to get better, but, subconsciously, this overarching goal was distracting me from everything else. During the last couple of months, I ended up getting diagnosed with a pretty mild autoimmune condition and was given medication for that, and all my symptoms disappeared. After everything I'd been through and how this issue had become such an impossible thing to get rid of in my head, this turn of events was confusing to process. Sure, it was a huge relief, but also confusing. Consciously, I was so happy and grateful. But I also felt WEIRD. And not in a good way. Sure, it sucks to feel sick every day of your life for nearly 8 years, but that's all I had been focusing on. Once this problem disappeared, everything else that I had been pushing to the side hit me like a ton of bricks, including things I hadn't processed because I was too busy dealing with symptoms and trying to find a cure. Once again, this is just a theory, but it's not the first time I'm seeing something like this. Consciously, you want to reach your overarching goal, but, subconsciously, you're also fearful of what will happen next. Especially when it comes to long term problems that begin to take over your life. It's like that social media trend of "The Roman Empire." Whatever your Roman Empire is, you feel slightly lost when it begins to disappear.

She could probably afford Ozempic if she didn’t eat takeout multiple times a day. My guess is that she spends $50-100 a day on takeout. Maybe less if she gets really cheap fast food and doesn’t use Door Dash. The video of her getting all those alcoholic drinks was probably a couple hundred dollars also. At $50 a day, she is spending around $1500 a month on food.

VERY modest estimate considering she's admitted to having food delivered usually 2 if not 3 or more times a day. She orders mainly from sit down restaurants rather than fast food and despite what she shows she probably orders several mains apps and desserts per delivery

Absolutely! I always order ‘extra’ from Grub Hub to have leftovers the next day when I order takeout. To save on delivery fees and TIP. Even if she was doing it this way to save that money, she’s definitely spending a LOT for food. We try to do delivery only once a week (2-3 days worth of food), but it’s still stupid expensive for nice food from nice restaurants. When I cook the other four-five days, it feels like we save SO MUCH money! I really do enjoy cooking, now that I’ve gotten better at it, so I’m puzzled by people that don’t even seem to try. I can do a lot with some tasty eggs! If I really think about it, I could ALMOST just stop ordering delivery and mostly afford an Ozempic prescription myself. Luckily, I’m in the ‘small fat’ category, so I’ve been reducing again on my own. I can’t even imagine how overwhelming it would be to weigh as much as she does. But if she made even small changes, she could drop so much weight very quickly! She needs to learn to enjoy cooking. It could save her life.

She for sure does not show everything. It's wild! I genuinely want the best for her and for her to succeed but she just keeps self sabatoging. Sending good vibes to all! She needs to eat more quality protein so she is satiated instead of so much carbs. I think that would be a good start!

A sometimes overlooked benefit of home cooked meals is that it’s so much easier to control portion sizes. You saw how much willpower and effort it took her to not finish those dishes, and at the end the tells how proud of herself she is for managing to restrain herself. That’s a huge amount of mental energy she wouldn’t have to expend at all if she cooked a single serving home cooked meal.

I can tell you from experience that she's just a full blown addict. And the only way to beat it, like any other addiction, is to abstain altogether. Of course it's tricky cos ya gotta eat! But I really do think some kind of VLC diet would help her adjust her hunger signals, satiety, cravings, etc.. so she can start to have a more normal relationship with food. It's the only thing that gets me back on track when I fall off & continue to spiral. The first wk or two is hell but it's always worth it to get over the food obsession & regain control over my addiction.

If you make the same thing from home, from scratch, it’s much healthier because you’re not gonna add all the crap to it that Food industry does. As long as she’s eating takeout and drinking diet and topping it off with chocolate cake or pie, she’s never going to lose weight. but I don’t think that’s really her goal. I weighed 256 three years ago. I am at 146 now. I have only just realized how big I looked. That “reverse body dysmorphia” is very really. I never thought I looked as big as I was

Ozempic is not what she should be doing. She needs to do in depth therapy to resolve her overeating and food addiction. Ozempic would be a temp fix, if she doesn't address the actual problems, she'll gain it back. Losing weight at 500lbs is easy, at 260 I was dropping 15 lbs in 10 days on Dr. Kelly Ann's 10 day bone broth diet. She doesn't want to address her mental health and addiction and she really needs to.

It's wild to me that she claims she doesn't understand why she's depressed when she stays inside all day, eats like crap, doesn't get any exercise, doesn't socialise, etc etc... You need to take care of your basic needs!

She used to love dancing. Even 5 minutes may boost her mood.

"You put yourself out there so you deserve the discomfort of someone in your space recording your a$$" is like saying,"you wore those close so you deserve ABC". Recording someone's butt is very inappropriate

I hadn’t seen that video of her in the laundromat before and my jaw actually dropped when I saw how close that person got to her

"particular look" is such a kind way to describe someone with an easily noticible trait and not offend them. I'm gonna start using that

She's probably rating herself a bit more highly, because in her mind she's thinking that she stuck to zero calorie drinks instead of full fat/full sugar. She went for "healthier" options with the take out. Chicken and rice instead of pizza, burgers etc. She stopped eating half way through one of the meals instead of finishing the whole thing. I genuinely believe that this really is her on one of her better days.

Hey man, I don’t if you’ll see this or care but you are the reason I’m starting to lose weight. I use your videos as background noise and for motivation. I just want to say thank you and keep up the good work with the videos!
