The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is a 2017 action-adventure game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch and Wii U consoles. The game is a part of The Legend of Zelda series and is set at the end of its timeline. The player controls an amnesiac Link, who awakens from a hundred-year slumber and is tasked with saving Princess Zelda and preventing Calamity Ganon from destroying the world. Similar to the original 1986 Legend of Zelda, players are given minimal instruction and can explore the open world freely. Released on March 3, 2017, Breath of the Wild was a launch game for the Nintendo Switch and the final Nintendo-published game for the Wii U. Two waves of downloadable content were released in 2017 via an expansion pass. Breath of the Wild received universal acclaim. It won several Game of the Year awards and has since been cited as one of the greatest video games of all time. Breath of the Wild is also the top selling game in the series and one of the best-selling video games of all time, selling more than 30 million copies by 2022. A spin-off, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, was released in 2020; a sequel, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, is scheduled for 2023.

Knowing the basics of the old speedrun really was a good choice, but I do hope we will see both the Animated Speedrun and the current Any& WR as both are insane in their own right

Perfect choice of speedrun. Btw, learning and using those glitches like the windbomb or bullet time bounce is funny as hell and a complete gamechanger. For the amount of skill and practice you need to perform those moves it's not really appropriate to call it cheating. It's more a way to master the game and its (unintended) mechanics in a very unique way.

windbombs are not hard at all and they completely change the game. Just wait for inventory corruption IST or in the distant future ZUGGLING

The mechanics used are wild. I'm currently half way across the world travelling so still catching up with your videos (on the King Rhoam's episode of the castle) but had to watch this as I've been wanting to see your reaction to a speed run since I shared the record times with you many episodes back! Gutted I missed the stream but, hey, 2.5 months abroad will do that to ya.

Things happened in the world :( Part of me is sad because I try not to watch games I haven't played myself and a lot of what you're playing / have played, I've never touched, so I'll be here a little less, but thank you for an incredible series. It's been one of my favourite playthroughs to watch. Truly great vibes and a satisfying approach to tackling the game. Did you find out the total number of koroks in the game yet?
