So, if you parry something and d-pad switch to another shield, it will bring your arms back to the default position, from which you can keep repeating the parry process. This is how Peco did the first temple parry, but he edited out the transition between shields. And, if you look at the clip, the shield changes after each parry.

10:55 My guess? When he did the back flip, he pulled out his bow to enter the bullet time and stay more time in the air, then when the Guardian shot the laser he let go of the bow and went back to normal speed, right in time for the laser to "be dodged", that tricked the game and he entered the bullet time once again, this time in the "Counter Attack" mode in which Link will reach the enemy in an instant no matter how far they are.

When you enter bow bullet time gravity will lessen, this applies not just to link but every free moving entity in botw. If an object is moving up, if you reduce gravity on it it will accelerate drastically and cause it to fly skyward. This is how the raft and guardian tricks were done.

The reason the stick worked, and I figured this out a few days ago on accident, is when you mount a Lynel and strike them with the equipped weapon, the durability isn't used. You could beat every Lynel this way with the weakest weapon in the game, a tree branch, if you have the time and strat down.

Yeah, Master Mode is brutal, the enemies recovering their health really made me have to switch from my slow sneaky approach which involved staying hidden and throwing bombs a lot and sneaky arrow shots to having to get in there and keeping the damage coming and doing actual crowd control. Gold Lynels are still by far the scariest thing ever for my mediocre skills, far more than guardians. Guardians I do prefer to take out on horseback, a certain horse makes it a lot easier, take out their legs and knock them over.

Speedrunners make it look easy, but there's a _lot_ more to Bullet Time Bounces (BTBs for short) than just shieldsurfing onto a random enemy. Of course you're free to try it out, but I don't know if you should do that on stream; you'd first have to research the technique and then put hours of practice in to pull it off even just once. It's a crazy precise tech.

Some points of note for how stuff worked: The throwing-lizal-boomerangs thing throws five because that's how many projectiles/dropped items you can have out before they start despawning. The reason they did so much damage is because the lizal tri-boomerang (the highest tier one) can do extra damage when thrown. If you look closely they were also catching and rethrowing some of them. The easiest way to get buttloads of arrows is using zelda-series amiibos on a daily basis, several of them can drop elemental arrows either in chests or loose. Also a good source of powerful weapons. A lot of the melee showcases ones use high-power attack-up food to get the ability to kill things fast. The biggest movement tech seems to be using the start-shield-surfing-jump to bounce off things and gain momentum fast. There's one place in the game that has three moblins, three lizalfos, three bokoblins, and a lynel that all get stronger and have better gear as you progress through the game. That guy just aggroed... all of them. At once. It's actually hard to get them all down to the same area. Also it was on master mode because that's the only place Gold Lynels exist. You can actually get the switch shirt now that you have the DLC, it's in a chest somewhere on the great plateau. That last video with the weapon switching in between laser parries may actually have been practice for the earlier one since weapon switching lets you semi-stop time. You can also just do it super fast with the d-pad and right stick which was important in some of the other ones.

so peco switching his weapons was because if you switch your weapon during a parry, link "resets" which means he stops waiting for that short time after a parry

Seriously, almost 4 years later, I thought I've seen everything... But here I am, still shouting "What the heck!?" "No way!" "You can't be serious!" "That's unreal..." along wth DBG here. XD It's amazing what these players can come up with, and amazing how BotW allows so much way to play, unintentional they may be. I'm sure people will still be discovering new tricks by the time BotW 2 is released! Also, I hope BotW 2 will let people do even more crazier things!

Regarding Lynel/stick, if you mount a Lynel your attacks while mounted do not damage your weapon.
