Okay, SOUND OFF TIME: Band-Maid is a world-class band that should be recognized as such. Instead, because hard rock is such a small niche in the glitz and glamour of huge pop genres, and that they sometimes get written off in the first few seconds as this cartoony maid thing who don't sing in English, they are only appreciated by people who know great music when - and only after - they give it a chance and listen to it. This is a battle, friends, that we must win if there's going to be order in the universe!! 🙏

@@phaeron I know when I attended a live B-M concert, it felt like a very charged-up family with nothing but love for the Maids. It feels like the Band-Maid movement is about to explode. Hopefully they can get out more media / public appearance events on their upcoming USA tour. Bringing a talented English interpreter would be vital, imo.

I can't always differentiate who's playing what chords when both Miku and Kanami are going at it, so it's always nice to hear a Kanami solo because then I know for sure what Miku is playing and can listen for it when I listen to the song again. Yeah, crunchy is good in both food and guitars.

I think it's weird that Kanami and the gang create such classic, what-use-to-be the western domain of rock 'n roll bangers. Clang, Fate, Turn Me On... the entire JBI and WD albums, really. Weird and amazing, our Maids! When's the world going to wake up!

In my opinion a real underrated track and a perfectly executed rock anthem. I happen to be a major fan of this era of Band-Maid. I also enjoy there newer progressive stuff as well but tracks like Fate, Dragon Cries, Puzzle are at a comfortable tempo where a groove can exist. I feel once the pace exceeds a certain point the Bass & Drum shift from the Groove Pocket into a Drive Pocket. I enjoy both types but ultimately I'm a big fan of Dynamics and Heavy Riff Based Groove. This track also is full of texture from the right amount of gain on both guitars all the way down to Misa choosing to finger pick her baselines rather than choosing to use a texture that comes from using a pick. I feel this band is the most complete example of a band that gets it. They unique yet familiar, each member provides the right ingredient to create a tasty tune. I feel real fortunate to have secured my tickets to see them later this year in San Diego. I have not anticipated or felt this level of excitement to see a band live since I was in my youth. I hope their upcoming tour provides them the recognition they truly deserve.
