That hit me very hard!! [Band-Maid - FORWARD (studio+live)] First time REACTION!

As a band they started at a very high level and have just become even more accomplished as time has gone on. Love Miku's enthusiasm and her support vocals. I never know how much of the work she is doing on the guitar in these early days but it is fun to watch. Great track that still stands up as a favourite today.

This is why I'm so inlove with Band-Maid. Their songs makes me reminisence my younger days when I have no care for the world and all I do was play and have fun with my friends. ❤️

In that second video, I'm amazed that Miku can jump like that and stick the landing in those high heels. Most guys, including myself, couldn't do that. By the way I love this song. I wish they would include it in future concerts.

That's why I said I'm always a bit concerned when she's jumping around in those. But she seems to have strong ankles 👍😉

Saiki's voice is much more refined in the acoustic version since these two versions were pre-throat polyp surgery. After her surgery to present is such an improvement. Fun to watch the LIVE version since Miku still couldn't play guitar......bless her heart.

In this particular performance Miku's voice is more powerful than Saiki even though she's a bit off in low range. Saiki sounds like she's just managing with help of microphone. They've definitely come far "forward" since then. Happy birthday Miku 🎉

@@lurkmerchant Agreed, Poor Saiki was suffering at the mic on a lot of performances back then. She's so strong and powerful now. Her endurance level is unbelievable too, October 2022 US tour to present is proving that.

I probably like the Christmas acoustic version a tiny bit more, but I really like the original as well as I did this live version (and the acoustic live version of 2014). The Christmas acoustic also sounds less intense because it was only performed with Saiki, Miku and Akane on the Cajón, so it's obviously missing the extra drive of Misa and Kanami, but it's really hard to choose between these versions. I just like this track a lot.

The live version probably has the earliest evidence of Miku playing the electric guitar live and still taking some of the lead vocals- c early 2014. Just noticed the 3-4 crazy guys who were at all their early shows and turn up in many of the early videos including some outdoor festivals 2013-15.

I have a few around me who managed to get into Band-Maid. I didn't show the videos. Just played the music over and over till they overcome their initial knee-jerk reaction over the language barrier.
