I respect Bayern a lot because of how impeccably they are run financially. I think that they make a profit every year without fail, are essentially debt free and have one of the lowest wage bill / revenue ratios of any big club in Europe. Plus they look after their fans so well with such cheap ticket prices (I think the cheapest ticket prices on average out of any major club in any major European league). And unlike Real and Barca historically in La Liga, I don’t think they’ve completely hogged Bundesliga TV money, as the next group of teams earn only slightly less than them each season. But no matter how we look at it, any club winning any major European league 10 times in a row is just ridiculous, and highlights major problems with that league. I think the only of those 10 titles they were in any danger of not winning, was in 2018/2019 when Dortmund blew it.

In the 1970s, Bayern actually finished 11th in the Bundesliga. In 1975 or 1976. Borussia Monchengladbach actually won more Bundesliga titles in the 1970s.

They won 3 European Cups on the trot, in 1974, 1975 and 1976. Of course they were strong in the 1970s. They had Beckenbauer and Muller etc playing for them. Just pointing out they finished 11th in the Bundesliga one year in the 1970s. Its just that the Bundesliga had other strong teams then like Monchengladbach, Hamburg, Cologne etc.

They could go to Spain and swap with Bilbao or Villareal for exactly the same reasons. Make it a 2-3 year tour to let the league recover and other teams grow

It is not Bayern’s fault they have won their 10th title in a row. Their job is to win games not to keep the league competitive and and please the neutrals n pundits. Do people just want them to lose them on purpose? It is also not Bayern’s fault that BvB can win the games they suppose to win vs smaller clubs. But if Bayern don’t won games or even the league the pundits would be criticizing Bayern so no matter what they do they will always be criticize.

exactly, what can we do? I thought RBL would have the spine to not sell us their manager but they did. Im hoping RBL becomes more competitive because im not happy with Dortmund's attitude right now. Not a fan of that huge hipster Marco Rose, and its embarrassing even for Bayern fans that they cant make it to the r/o 16 in the UCL in a group with Ajax and sporting and with Haaland upfront. RBL is the Bundesliga's great hope despite what people say, and their game against Bayern will soon be the big match of the Bundesliga.

Troll harder with your attempted comparison of the boring farmer's leagues of Germany, France and Spain to the much more competitive Premier League. Our league isn't perfect but at least it's never had a team winning 5 titles in a row or something. Even when Man Utd were absolutely dominant, they never won more than 3 titles in a row.

They have only ever won two titles in a row, The record in England is three titles in a row, and it's rare that it happens. Everyone making stupid statements about Bayern taking players clearly dont watch the league and just read headlines. Every top club does that, winning attracts winners, thats the nature of the game. The real reason the competition at the top is faltering is because the financial power outside of Germany is becoming too imposing and the 50+1 rule, which protects the integrity of our game, is also ampering their ability to increase their spending power. Even Bayern dont enter bidding wars with EPL & Liga giants, because they need to stay sustainable. Bayern always functionned the same way and neither them nor anyone else had ever won more than 3 in a row. Its other leagues who have gone in the wrong direction, not the Bundesliga...

Its not the Bundesliga who's wrong for preserving the integrity of their game, its the other leagues who open their clubs to dodgy billionaires who wanna use it to wash their cash. The competition would be better if financial investment needed to compete wasnt pushed so high by a false market. It buys other rich clubs short term success, but its gonna crash eventually, because its not sustainable...

Im saying the levels of investment are boosted to ridiculous level because these new owners push the economy way too high and thats why lesser teams compete anymore with development and have their best players poached everytime they perform well. Juve won 9 in a row, PSG won 8/10, its not a coincidence these streaks are all happening now...

The Premier League had 4 different winners 2016-2020. Leicester, Chelsea, Man City, Liverpool. Liverpool may win it this year. The Premier League has also had four different Champions League finalists 2019-2021. La Liga has had zero in that time.

The real question is, would teams from other leagues want a manager like Pep or Klopp? Of course they would - they would take either of them in the blink of any eye. And don't forget Tuchel as well. Who (managers) do LaLiga have that other clubs would love to have? Ancelotti is past his best, and Xavi is still untested at the highest level. Simeone - maybe Burnley or the relegtaion version of Everton would take him, but no one else. Unai Emery is doing wonders at Villarreal... but Arsenal and PSG fans still think he's trash.

Bayern have a model where they take the best players from their domestic rivals and that is never good for a league. The German FA needs to stop that if they ever want a truly competitive division. I mean when was the last time a German team other than Bayern won a European competition.

Thats not their model at all. This run started with academy players like Müller, Lahm, Schweinsteiger, Alaba, etc. as their spine and built around with smart acquisitions like Robben & Ribery, who didnt come from BL. And their success attracted other players, just like all big clubs do. People make so much out of Bayern taking Götze, who flopped massively, and Hummels, who came from our academy in the first place. Lewandowski is the only key player they got from their main rival and he ran his contract down because of the lack of ambition of the club, thats not Bayern's problem... If such a rule existed, Dortmund would never be able to compete, becayse they buy waaay more players from Bundesliga (look at Bayern now, half their team are french).
