Just started watching and I agree 1000%...Gideon had an air of intelligence an aura that Rossi lacks tbh I didn't mind Prentiss replacing Elle but Rossi isn't even a match to the elegance that Gideon brought...in entire third season he almost sounded like he was reading off his lines without any emotions or anything from season 4 he's tolerable

Caitlyn, I too liked the introduction of the team in "Extreme Aggressor" The only thing I didn't like was that we didn't meet JJ until the second episode. And you were right Garcia was only supposed to be in the pilot alone but thanks to that "delicious banter" with Morgan she stayed indefinitely! Garcia wasn't even in the beginning credits until Season 2. Most of Season One focused mainly on Gideon Hotch Morgan Reid and Elle. JJ was only focused on when she presented a new case to them or if she was making a statement to the press most of Season 1. Yeah Rossi has been a bully since he started Criminal Minds but Gideon had his own beautiful way of bullying an unsub. And Elle did have an impatient streak but she always got the bad guy who underestimated her in the end! Yes young lady I support you going back and doing older Criminal Minds episodes. I'd like to see Emily Prentiss' first case "Lessons Learned" in Season 2 or Morgan's episode "Profiler Profiled" or "Legacy" with Gideon showings the team a Charlie Chapman film. Or Rossi's first episode "About Face" in Season 3. Or what the team did to catch the unsub after Garcia was shot in "Penelope" or how about your favorite episode in Season 4, "Minimal Loss?" Or Reid's episode "Memoriam" when JJ gave birth to Henry? Or Season 8 "Magnum Opus" when Reid was grieving alone over Maeve's murder and Morgan found a way to bring Reid back to the team. Or JJ's Season 9 episode "200." Or any of the Reid prison episodes of Season 12 that you didn't already do. Or Season 13 "Lucky Strikes" when Morgan came back to visit Garcia to cheer her up about her remembering the time she was shot. It's your choice.

Omg I had no idea that was Hotch in that beginning scene with Haley (bc I had no idea who anyone was at that time lol)! And you're not alone-- I love Giddeon too. If you do more of these kind of Criminal Minds reactions that would be amazing! I hope you decide to consider that sometime for the future. Just-- everyone is so INNOCENT I cannot take it ahhh the nostalgia!!!

Oh, please start a reaction-series from the beginning! That would be epic! :) And the only thing to really complain about in the first season is that Garcia is not in it enough. You can never have too much Garcia, but you can definitly have too little :P

Caitlyn, I caught this episode on We TV two Saturday's ago. I've said before I mainly look for episodes on ION television because ION has all 13 of the previous seasons. We TV only has Seasons 1 through 10, which is great for anybody who misses Hotch or Morgan. But if anybody wants more recent seasons with Emily in charge ION is the channel to go to.

I never hated Gideon, I just didn't like how he had the magical solution for most of the first episodes. I love rewatching the first episode because I get to see all my favorites as babies, like Reid, Morgan with hair, and Garcia before her explode of outfits. Also I love my boy DJ Qualls doing an amazing performance as a bad guy instead of the good guys I've seen him play like Garth (Supernatural) and Citizen Z/Simon (ZNation)
