Event info recently started getting split off into its own video. Also just wanted to add a small note that when HoYo puts out patch notes, they list both Archon Quests and Character Quests under the "Main Story" category. You're obviously free to do whatever non-essential content you'd like, I just wanted to note that those stories are a bit more important than some might think. ESPECIALLY the Character Quests that unlock weekly bosses.

To do so, he stole the maguu kenki and seeked the help of Hibiki, the shrine maiden of Seirai’s Shrine where Neko is and also owner of the Shimenawa Reminescence set, and together they broke the seals on Seirai Island that freed the Thunder Manifestation. The Thunder Manifestation killed Hibiki and Ako Domeki decided to keep on her dream of traveling through Teyvat, he departed with his crew on his boat Miitoboruu, whose “soul” we meet in the Golden Apple Archipelago event, and reached the Archipelago where they found an entire civilation, reason why we can see human made structures in the Archipelago. They took the people with them and left the Maguu Kenki there, so that’s why we could fight it first there before Inazuma came out

1.4 hits so hard because windblume was actually fun when it first dropped. I hated the rerun in 3.5, its vibe wasnt the same when literally 98% of Mondstadt cast wasnt in it and the events didnt hit the same Also for 1.6 Kazuha came out with his boss cause it was the interlude to Inazuma, hes the one who takes us in 2.0, ofc at that time we had zero clue if Inazuma was the next patch or not so people panicked when getting Kazuha. The devs threw all of his ascension items in the archipelago event location and since it was a limited event everyone with kazuha was begging to grind and collect in people's worlds. Around the end of 1.6 Inazuma was leaked so ppl did calm down but it wss funny at the time

Wriothesley's awesome music, then Neuvi's that demands respect, then it starts ramping up toward the climax, and _"Answer me, Neuvillette!"_ then breaks the tension with Focalors' voiceover... his first banner was during 1.6 lol that's why maguu kenki was in the limited area so you could level him up before inazuma was released. the limited area also had the sea ganoderma things you needed as well but it was cool because the ships that crashed there had lore notes saying they brought the mechanical doll (maguu kenki) from inazuma as they were transporting it as a commodity until they were lost in the fog from the south island and then crashed on the middle island where his temporary boss fight thing was.

agh curse mihoyo and their tendency to make albedo events limited. albedo is a synthetic human, and, prior to his creation, rhinedottir (his mother/creator) made another prototype. it failed, and she fed it to durin (? not totally sure). susbedo (for lack of a better name to call him lol) came back in an attempt to replace albedo / destroy all that he'd created. he was very resentful of humans / rhinedottir / albedo. albedo also admits that he likely would have done the same, had he been in susbedo's place. players are able to tell the difference btwn the fake albedo + the real albedo by the star on his neck (albedo has one, susbedo does not). 42:58 ^albedo was created through khemia, which is an alchemy from khaenriah. it's heavily implied that a. albedo may become corrupted, thus leading to traveler having to fight him and/or b. albedo having a major role in the khaenriah chapter of teyvat (similar to kaeya and dainsleif). gdhfgdjhf it irks me sm that hoyoverse made these events limited. people who joined after december 2021 have little to no chance of knowing anything about albedo (or even rhinedottir and durin, for that matter).

The 4.2 trailer might seem too spoilery with all the context we have now, but they managed to craft it in such a way that we had no idea what was going to happen at the time. The hype and theories around it were massive and those 2 weeks of waiting felt like forever, I and many others were so excited. When the archon quest finally dropped it fully exceeded our expectations. 4.2 was peak Genshin Impact

Oh, guys those 'giraffes' y'all saw in Natlan, I think they're more like Dinosaurs, specifically the huge ones like Brontosaurus. They are a LOT bigger compared to the other animals. I have caught up with the main story myself and I am hyped for Natlan, mostly for story reasons. Have y'all decided which free 5 star y'all are going to get? I've decided to get Diluc, my OG Husbando, who've I've wanted since Day 1 (and I've been playing since 2.1 lol). I did want a Pyro char and I was torn between him and Deyha (when I first heard about this), but seeing how I need to face a certain weekly boss to level up Deyha's talents (I hate this boss, but I face it because I love Alhaitham too much), I decided to not get Deyha. The language sung in the Natlan Symphony is Swahili, which is an African language. I saw a reaction to just the concert part by someone from Kenya. He's never touched anything Genshin related but got a lot of recommendations to watch it and he was blown away and teared up. He even turned off the subtitles since Swahili is his native language. I think if there's one thing Genshin always nails it's the music for sure and I love how in each region they do use native instruments of the inspirations behind the regions. Like you saw a good number of tribal instruments.

All I can say is that, as someone who follows Genshin since the beta, the version 2.0 trailer was the most insane thing in this community to this day. You should've seen the incredible hype that Inazuma had developed prior to its release. I personally think it's almost impossible to replicate that impact, even with 5.0. Well, just a bit of info about that time haha ❤
