This was such a fun watch and really motivated me to continue my outline so I can eventually get feedback on my writing. The feedback you received has me even more excited for your book! Can't wait until it's publicly available one day ⚰

Is it weird to say that I enjoy the friendship between you three haha it’s so nice to see how you all collaborate with and support each other. I am so curious about what all is wrong with Alessia and can’t wait for more ⚰️

Getting feedback from your friends (maybe even especially from your friends??) is sooo nerve racking!! Being vulnerable is hard, even with your favourite people!! Glad it went well!!! 😊

⚰️ how exciting!! as a reader, half the time I go in completely blind and don’t even read the blurb (especially if I’m reading based on recommendation), so my preference is to write the book as if the reader knows literally nothing.

uwaaah I love this video so much! I just got my beta reading notes from a writing group I'm in and I'm putting off reading it for a day now 🙈 I know they all have lovely and helpful notes for me but it's really nerve-wracking haha but this video gave me a boost of motivation! Lovely video as always, Lynn!☕

I love the way Kris and Kelley give feedback! It’s such a wonderful way to do it! 😍 I’m sure your prose is absolutely stunning! 🥹🥰 I also love the way you dissect it! I’m obsessed with the gothic vibes, ghosts, and I can’t wait to learn more about Alessia’s female rage! I hope it also sells on sub so I can sensitivity read it! Haha. 🥰📝

I think you could drop hints that it’s about revenge in the beginning, but not tell us what for until much later? It would keep a mystery up, but give us some info ⚰️

Ok, just found this video by chance, never seen any of your content before and I've never read the book. But from this video it sounds like you simply do too much showing and not enough telling. Not telling in the most obvious way of 'Main character does this' to the audience. But using your words and descriptions along with dialogue tags the tell the audience 'It's alright to be confused here', at least that's what I do in my writing. Great video by the way, love when people show the process not just the success.
