The angels had no idea about Charlie's project, Adam was just send down to a meeting to inform them of the extermination cycle being cut in half. Also, this is unconfirmed, but it's believed that Lucifer send Charlie to the meeting to have a realize how much of a lost cause it is, that there is simply no working with the angels, and to teach her how horrible they actually are. Though I'm sure him not wanting to deal with his wife's ex was part of it as well

My daughter didnt like the new voice cast... but once Husk opened his mouth for the first time i was obsessed. i dont like how they made Husk less... well, husky, but Keith David can growl in my ear all day. Honestly, I wasn't sold on the VA changes either, but seeing how many big production musical numbers the show has now, I get it. There's a reason that they sourced their talent from Broadway performers. As much as I do think that some of the speaking voices in the pilot were better, they couldn't have done this if they had to cast a separate speaking and singing voice for everyone, so having VAs with the vocal range to do their own singing parts was a must.

I think people are just stuck and used to the Pilot voices. If these same VAs were in the pilot, nobody would be complaining. The same thing happened with Millie in Helluva boss but people grew to like her voice change. I personally prefer the VAs now, no disrespect to the originals who were also good though. I don't think people like change.

Also in the case of Sir Pentious, the original VA got in a metric ton of shit fer a multitude of reasons, and Alex Brightman has such a versatile voice that he sounds close enough to Stamper`s OG voice for Sir Pentious.

Husk is SUCH a good new voice, but I do agree I struggled with liking Vaggie's new voice, I love the actress but it feels like shes playing kinda her standard "self-role" and a lot of the nervous frustrated energy pilot-vaggie had got lost. I'm sad we wont get to see your reaction to the rest of the series! patreons or heavy filters were used by reactors but I get it if its just kinda more trouble than the risk is worth!

The pilot was confirmed canon by Vivzie. This episode takes place a week after the pilot. Lore on the other hand has been changed since the livestreams and lore dumps from years ago. The Pilot of Helluva Boss, however, is not canon.

Most of the cast are Broadway stars and starred in not only musicals but in many other things too. Like Stephanie Beatriz (Vaggie in HH, Mirabel Madriga in Encanto), Amir Talai (Alastor in HH, he starred also in The Circle, What to Expect When You're Expecting and Legally Blonde 2), Christian Borle (Vox in HH, also starred in Smash), Kemiko Glenn (Niffty in HH, starred in Orange Is The New Black and BoJack Horseman) or Keith David (Husk in HH, Dr. Facilier in The Princess and the Frog or The Cat in Caroline) are probably one the more famous ones. Though the whole cast is incredible. You will also see and hear some VAs from Helluva Boss: Alex Brightman (Fizzarolli in HB, Adam and later on Sir Pentious in HH), James Monroe Iglehart (Ozzie/Alastor and Vortex in HB, will voice a Overlord later on), Brandon Rogers (Blitzo in HB, Katie Killjoy in HH) and of course also Richard Horvitz (Moxxie in HB, works more in the background and helps the VAs to get in the role; aka look into the credits you will find him there as Voice Director which he also does in HB ;D) HH = Hazbin Hotel HB = Helluva Boss

sooo... my fazit on the Four Hazbin Hotel episodes so far: It's OK. i aint blown away but its not really bad either. Personal partiality to pilot stuff aside,Not a fan of HEaven, so far, being 2d (and why the heck Is Adam the leader of the Angels?! And just an annyoing troll?!) ANd for some reason the time til the next extermination got cut in half because plot... THough I ugess it's for the same reason, with the same issues, as in HB with Crimson, Stella and Striker. We have a lot of morally gray main characters, so the villains need to be 2d (be it evil or "LOOK! COOL BADASS EVIL!" for striker) to make them more likeable (Eeven when it ain't needed). REally amusing when kids shows pull a "both sides have a point" more often than "mature" shows... The songs, at times, for me don't really flow nicely into the plot as they did in the pilot or in HB. There are moments where it feelsl ike it was just "we need another song, just have it be this scene." Also, the story so far feels rather... speedy. It seems 8 Episodes a season arent doing it much good. The hotel feels like a side thing with all the other stuff. Overall, it feels fine. If you have Prime, give it a try, but it aint a "go subscribe to prime to watch it now!!!" thing.

Erm I think the show implies that the time got cut in half because the Sinners managed to actually kill an Angel and because Adam wants the sinners to not catch on the fact that one of them died by a sinner instead of telling Lucifer "Yooo Lucy one of ours is dead!😮 Shame I know I know...we'll deal is off! We go down there and kill them all now!" He just cuts the time in half to be less suspicious and probably avoid getting in a direct conflict with Lucifer. Adam is the first human..the first human that existed before concepts such as mannerism so he personally legit can't get why he should be subtle outside of the cussing and his pride tho he was semi decent. For the rest is just easy to gather...Angels simply despise the very existence of demons so they are never going to be nice around demons

"For soem reason, tehy decided to take an established time limit and cut it in half", maybe to increase the pressure, or to make the 8 episodes feel more appropriate for hte time frame/the hastiness of the stuff feel more appropriate.

Story wise it makes sense what happened behind should hardly impact your opinion if you try to be actually objective. That being said it doesn't make any sense to cut the time in half of the extermination because the concept of *time skip* exists I just believe they wanted to add some extra stakes to the existence of the hotel. If anything it makes heaven rushing in for the kill all the more interesting

Understood. It’s just a story to me at the end of the day. No different than reading any other fantasy book or movie. Also the main plot in this is to rehabilitate demons into good (Heaven) via the hotel, which is an interesting concept. It also shows that those who were perceived as good (Adam) is just as twisted as the demons themselves, false prophets if you will. We see this in the church today. I learn from all sources and rely on my faith to guard my mind.
