I must have watched this 50 times for the beauty and artistry of the vocals and video. Then I started listening to the lyrics. Geoff's ability to show the resolve, sadness, determination and tragedy of this song is amazing. Usually, tenor Geoff is part of the harmony, I love that he gave that voice solo prominence. It was surprising and wonderful. Take care of yourself, do what you can and we will be here whenever you are ready to react. And if it's all Geoff and Voiceplay, that's perfectly fine. 😉😉

I love having you back. Changing meds can be brutal. It's how I lost my husband of 48 yrs. Cancer meds. Geoff's 2 basses was his Christmas song last year.

Geoff always hits you in the feels. This is why I'm saying with Geoff and VoicePlay that "the next one" is my favorite. They have no limits here lately. On the more important note--I understand about brain health. I feel you brother. I have chronic depression and Fibro brain fog so I know the struggle is real when your brain won't cooperate. You have to take the time to heal and find what helps you. If it's music I'd go back and listen to VoicePlay's Disney or lighter songs, and Home Free has done some truly hilarious ones. Peaches is a mini where Geoff cuts loose into a TENOR rock star and it's kinda mind blowing. Gotta laugh at the Butts Medley. Sending much love and hugs your way.

I giggled when you took headphones off at Geoffs tenor voice (gorgeous), and said "That isn't fair." Reminded me of another reactor who did same thing you did, said same as you, then said, "You can't be good at all the good stuff because that doesn't leave any good stuff for anybody else to be good at! What a choice for your comeback reaction! Yes I did notice, as you mentioned, that you got your first two in the wrong order and put another up ahead of this one but if this was your actual first you picked a cracker! Great reaction and lovely to see you enjoying it. Have to say that, having listened to the original by Ed Sheeran AFTER hearing a few covers, that the cover versions, for me, knock spots of the original. Geoff's version is my joint favourite, with a VERY different metal version! (It's by Jonathan Young with Colm McGuinness and Matthew Heafy of Trivium. I don't think you've reacted to anything by Jonathan. if you like heavy rock/metal music then you might like to check him out - he does covers and originals. I may be just a tad obsessed with his voice in all it's variations! 🤣) Good to see you back. Take care of yourself x

Geoff's rendition sounds beautiful but I much prefer Peter Hollens version.
