This is such a weak take the man obviously sees the play in hiphop which is beef sales records, media has been manipulating rappers beef for years and where has that got us basically hiphop is lot the hunger games now you can die just by entering in. Do I think this beef would have went that far no but who knows, Pac and Bigee were friends at one point and look what happend. You ninjas don't know how people can pull strings and get ninjas to beef. So what happens someone influenced them to start this beef out of nowhere for profit Cole realized it and said naw I love my brother to much. He never needed beef to make music or get a buzz so he didn't need to do it. We all mess up sometimes.

29:24 Here’s the problem. For all of the big talk that Cole does, for all of the self-reflection and self-awareness that Cole is known for and tries to convey in his music, you can’t let him off that easily. So he didn’t know this about himself all the way up to the point that he released the response, and all of a sudden he had an epiphany? 😂 come on, we know Cole is far more intelligent than that and knew exactly what he was doing. The same guy who made “False Prophets and absolutely DESTROYED Kanye? He doesn’t get brownie points for talking like a big boy and shrinking like a gambler’s savings account..does he? I guarantee if Drake had done this and apologized, he would not have been extended the same grace. But the culture doesn’t respect Drake in the same regard…I think Cole got scared after the lukewarm response to that track and pulled out the old “mental health/protect my energy” card and yall fell for it because he built up enough cache in the community to do so. He did not fool me though.

Part of me thinks there’s something more to this apology on Cole’s part in some kind of weird way in Cole’s mind. I just wanna see how it plays out because it’s too shocking & Cole knows that, so it has to be more to it because he knows how the hip hop world would react by saying what he said. He had to think about what he said on that stage on Sunday before he did that…for some reason, we just don’t know what it is. He got the people talking, maybe that’s what he wants.

This is a great example of manhood. Your political party, your hip hop affiliation, or your culture should not weigh more than relationship of your soul and relationship to God. Kendrick’s catalog is not vast but it is great. Outside of Awards, this albums are amazingly artistic. Anytime he is a guest, the song is better. Drake’s fan base is too big/mainstream and Cole’s fan base is too hurt right now for them to be honest about the fact that Kendrick should be crowned with the W. Drake will drop a response and they’ll let him off the hook for taking so long to respond, yelling about it on stage beforehand and halfway addressing it in captions. He’ll position himself as the one hero against the bullies. So even if Kendrick single handily responds with something even stronger people will make the excuse that Drake held his own against so many people, & give him leniency.

There is no time limit for a response Jay z took months to respond to Nas. Also drake is probably going to wait for the new metro and future album to drop to see if they take short with Kendrick again. No one letting drake off the hook most don't even like him. If drake did what come did they would be attacking him viciously. Rap as a joke has hated drake since day one and accepted Kendrick with open arms drake is the underdog

@@jameslight4391 You gotta be kidding me if you think Drake is the underdog. He’s created a mafioso image, speaking about how much power he has, money he has, how he’s been in the number one spot. He’s put out so many subliminal shots over the years he put on his albums heard by is super mainstream audience, with non stop radio play, he stopped being the underdog years ago.

@@cloutclaudiuscharles2597 he is a underdog especially if many people are attacking him. Just because you succeeded doesn't mean you can't still be an underdog in a different situation.
