"Don't preorder until you see gameplay". I applaud to that. Big agree. But i do have a caveat: don't trust gameplay trailer. Those can still be altered. We have seen so many games introduced to us with shining graphics, destructible environment, smart AI, a lot of mechanics etc etc and real game we actually got has been few times much less. Thus imo wait for until content creators get their hands on the game and are able to share publicly what condition it is in. And only when you see actual gameplay from someone you (as a player or content enjoyer) watch - only then buy it.
@Grandwigg7 ай бұрын
Yeah, at the very least, don't pre-order. Companies have learned that little freebies with the pre-order hit the 'fear of missing out" button in our brains to make sure they get out money before reviews that aren't early access (and therefore manipulatable) are available. (It's an open secret that movie and TV show reviewers withhold or reduce negative comments so they don't lose said early access)

@samamies887 ай бұрын
@@BioTheHuman Well.. yes. Most of the time. But i think that fact when i see content creator playing it already gives me enough information to make decisions for myself. If i see bugs or unfinished elements ofc i will hold on with my purchase. But if i see a game that i like i will buy it (i do prefer games to be full when i buy them but i have bought some early access games too that i have enjoyed greatly such as "Gold With Your Friends" when i bought it and "Tape to Tape" which is still in early access but has working campaign, roguelite elements and progression already in game - everything else that comes after is just more content). From nearly 200 games i own on steam only around 10 are or have been in early access state when i bought them. I would like to counter your point on sword holding. As a (former) military man my self there is such a thing as parade grips - and there are parade grips for swords too as well as modern arms. parade grips are designed to be visually impressive but not combat effective. To me these swords seem to be held in a parade style grip - deliberately designed to not be 'ready to swing'. This sort of ceremony is exactly when a parade grip would be used. EG: one British parade grip for a sword is sword held close to body in one hand facing directly upwards, limbs and back strait. I have no idea whether parade grips were a thing in 17th century japan, but i find it highly likely - and I think that's what jazza was going for artistically. Also I totally noticed the top not being lowered thing ;) Close but no cigar jazza!

While he’s an incredibly skilled artist, and I understand that his video was sponsored by Ubisoft, I feel like as someone who doesn’t know much about history, he shouldn’t have put so much stock into Yasuke, a figure that not much is known about for certain. I mean, he even has a brother, Shadiversity, who for as much shit as I’d give him, he does seem to take great pride in his historical research ability. I feel like Jazza had the resources to do his research, but just didn’t. I wonder if maybe part of the sponsorship deal was that he HAD to draw Yasuke specifically, but we’ll never know for sure.

From an artist: It's most definitely voice-over when Jazza is adding the shadows. You can see it in the way the shadows and highlights "jump" in how complete they look (just around 26:58 or so), and again when Nobunaga suddenly looks a bit wider (at 27:09). That's from clipping in the video. The transition is just buttery smooth in Jazzas video (fantastic editing)

Misinterpretation of what Shad said. He also draws and is an artist, though not nearly as good as Jazza. In that clip you're alluding to, he talks about his actual abilities, not his AI works. And sooner artists stop hating on AI and actually start implementing it in their art, the better for them. Because mega corporations are already using AI. So fight is already lost. All you can do now is stay on top of it and use your artistic abilities to use AI for the enhancement of your art production and make good money.

Metatron, carissimo insegnante, sei MERAVIGLIOSO. GRAZIE MILLE!!! Thank GOODNESS! I saw this and HAD to click (it's our Metek! I can't get enough of him!!!) - though admit I kind of squinted at first when I saw he was reacting to Jazza... another favourite of mine... I can't tell you how happy I am to see that Metek's critiques really were "pedantic" (Love you being Pedantic, Metatron!) - there were NO immediate pauses with Metatron having to take a deep breath, or looking at the ceiling, or closing his eyes before ATTACKING. Metatron obviously genuinely enjoys Jazza's art, and is impressed just how much Jazza gets right - and also a lot of the music was tremendous. I now have a dream: Metatron & Shad co-write a graphic novel that Jazza illustrates. I'd have to buy TWO copies of everything - one to become dog-eared from the constant reading & sharing and one to remain pristine.
