It is very hard to find people who will accept you for who you are and the search for those few is exhausting. Yet i am absolutely sure that within those 8 billion people are a couple of really awesome ones. Sometimes when you are in a place where you feel like there could be great people worth meeting you should put in some effort to find them and this comes from a very very introverted person. It doesn't work all the time but when it does there is one more person you can open up to and share valuable life experiences which is one of the most pure and rewarding experiences in life. I really enjoy being alone in my room without any interference for days. But i also sometimes need a very very long deep and personal conversation with a person that meets some of my expectations of a decent mind. I hope you will find someone like that soon.

The lyrics that spoke to me when she was speaking about needing to be alone and her batteries were low. That's the introverts anthem. I know personally that you can have a job where you are very social but being social takes energy from you. It's like a muscle you build from an exercise you dislike. You can show strength but it's draining.

Yes, it can be very draining being around people as an introvert. I've felt that when I'm around a lot of people for a long period of time, I feel so tired and need to take a nap.

This band was so cool live, everything they did felt so emotional and mature and intentional yet effortless, the band sound was HUGE and POWERFUL (way beyond expectation, so loud yet sounded great) and Tati looked so beautiful and HAPPY as she put on a show while the guys just stayed on their spots and jammed ... true pro's, it was a borderline unreal experience

There's a direct correlation to the pressure she felt for procrastinating lyric writing for the album to the last second. Her bandmates pursue her, pressure her. The bullets (sharp words) at them do nothing, but then she throws "her art" (metaphor for the lyrics they want) at them and they go away. The wolf story (below) is critical to understanding her internal conflicts as displayed by the wolf art. White Wolf, Black Wolf: A Cherokee Story Inside you lives a wolf of white- of patience, peace and love. He is forgiveness, hope and light; a blessing from above. This wolf of white the world will see through all the good he brings to thee. _____This wolf of white, _____this wolf of white, his gifts will set your spirit free. A wolf of black, as dark as night lives next to him inside. He’s hatred, rage, cruelty, fright, intolerance and pride. This wolf of black the world will see through evil actions, evil deeds. _____This wolf of black, _____this wolf of black, his teeth will make your spirit bleed. Within your soul, the two wolves fight to see which one will give directions and will win the right to show you how to live. Which one will win the fight? We need to pay attention; pay close heed! _____Which one will win? _____Which one will win depends upon which one we feed.

I'm more than happy because I remember very well their live shows 6-7 years ago in small venues in Poland. And now they are so big, that everyone in the metal world discusses their music and the lyrics of their tracks. Wonderful story! Ofc this is because of their skills and hard work. Vlad, the drummer is classically trained and loves jazz music, I can hear his influences clearly. Eugene is such a charismatic person, he was a guest on Nic Nocturnal's twitch stream and he was awesome- very knowledgable and funny. Tatiana writes amazing lyrics in her non-native language, she's really special, good artist and intelligent person. Definitely, one of my favorite bands. Thank you Chase for all reactions to Jinjer, keep it up dude! Greetings from Poland:)

@@justdave9610 As far as I know, he was a guitarist in a band that couldn't find a drummer to play the way they imagined - so they thought it would be easiest if he learned to play the drums the way they wanted and they would look for another guitarist. Eugene mentioned that Vlad wrote most of the music on Wallflowers. I think Ape was the first song he wrote for Jinjer. Some people are just out of this world.

I really like how you can describe the small tunings of the artists and their effects on the music/auditience. These were often references to something I couldn't hear before and always a pleasure. This time maybe i can give a hint as a thx: the vocal layering what you mentioned is definetely there. And in my opinion it's there all the time from the first verse. But at the beginning it's not harmonizing or broadening the spectrum. If you crank up the volume you can hear a very soft and delicate breathy main vocal layer and underneath it a glimpse of whispering without any melody or tonal weight, pure whisper. That same layer grows later into harmonizing the main vocal layer. Thats such a masterful and intelligent way to invite the listener in the stroy and feelings. (Hope that makes sense)

Hey man, you do you. You were the first reactor I've watched who'd break down the technical aspects of a song and helped me understand the intricacies of metal music and what to listen out for. You were also able to put into words things I could hear, but not really understand and gave me a diferent view on the genre in general, as before I'd simply listen to the music, enjoy it, but not be quite sure what exactly makes some songs enjoyable, while other similar songs not quite so much with which I was able to find some bands that tick the right boxes for me. Looking forward to the next one, stay safe.

Vortex and Mediator are they other tracks with music videos. I haven’t had a chance to sit and do a full listen of Wallflowers yet, but these three songs are so unique to what they have previously done. Like…you know it’s Jinjer, but these songs have that flavor of melancholy and anger that is deeper and richer than their other tracks. This song hits a bit particular cord in me. That opening reminds me of the improv jazz that my dad loves to listen to. It helps give that element of whimsy mixed with sadness. And then that breakdown literally was a breakdown. And I think a lot of us can relate. I mean, I’m not saying I had crying mental breakdowns this last year and half but…😅 As always, great video and have a damn good day!

I first heard this song only a couple weeks ago and it has become one of my favorite Jinjer songs also. The music is brilliantly written and arranged, with a uniqueness and flawless flow through the varied parts like I've never heard before in metal and have heard very infrequently in other genres, and Tatiana has cemented her status as the ultimate bad-a$$ metal vocalist.

So happy to see you back and reacting again (I watched your previous couple too but didn't comment). You've been one of my favorite reactors since I started watching music reaction and analysis type videos a couple years ago. I love vortex and was blown away by it and really hope you do a reaction but I think this is my favorite Jinjer song and packs so much of what makes them great into one song. From very deep thought provoking lyrics, very technical musicianship, intelligent composition that balances technicality and musicality on a level that i feel is second to none, and of course Tatiana showing us yet again how her combined ability to do both clean singing and harsh extreme vocals at top tier levels even when considered individually sets her apart even from most others who do both and shows why she's one of the best metal vocalists in the game

Hey Chase, thank you for your thoughts, I always appreciate your look on things - and your ears! When you stopped after the needle prick I thought you were going to mention the quick roll on the opening hi-hat - perfectly sounding like a sharp inhalation matching the visuals - but since you went on with another great point I'll just mention it instead. Kind of a reverse foley there. This video is filled with about as much symbolism as a David Lynch movie and just as beautiful. I love this song so much. What you said in the intro about "Jinjer reinvigorating your love for heavier music, showing you a style of heavy you didn't know you needed" you hit the nail on the head for me as well: I've been listening to heavy music for more than 30 years now. After I found "King of Everything" I had to get my first tattoo... after "Macro" I got my second, looks like "Wallflowers" will lead to the third. Take your time, stay safe, best wishes!

Awesome :) I knew I was going to enjoy your reaction to this. Nice to see you back and reacting to Jinjer :). I like your approach to making reaction videos and making content online in general. Yep, just be authentic. One of the big reasons I love Jinjer, Tatiana and the whole band. Very authentic. I'd say the same thing to Jinjer as well. Lots of respect for their approach to music and art. I'm one of those people now that pretty much just watches reactors react/analyze Jinjer songs. I'll listen to people react to other stuff sometimes, but right now, I'm focused on Jinjer and don't really wish to be introduced to new bands at the moment. They are definitely my favorite band across the board. Just don't want to have any new influences but them right now.

Nice to see you having another da*n good day :) One thing I noticed was your take on too much deconstruction taking away from enjoying a song. Now, to a certain extent that might be true for some people, but since I'm unfortunately not that musical myself (learned *some* piano waaaay back), I really do enjoy learning about all the different bits and bobs that make a song the way it is. Your videos always make me feel like I really ought to go back and actually learn some actual music theory, my knowledge ends at enharmonic changes :P Pretty sure I can't be the only one who actually enjoys a song *more* when they have at least some clue of what's going on. Heck I even watch Tank and the only instrument I ever owned was a YAMAHA keyboard. That being said I would *love* to know what you'd make of Gacharic Spin's "Mindset". It is so chaotic and all over the place that it really should be just sonic chaos. Yet It sounds wonderful. I realize it's not exactly "heavy" music, more of a funk-rock-something else-fusion, but it is awesome, all the musicians are seriously great and the songwriting (to me) is simply incredible. Anyways, much love from germany! Oh, and in case anyone wants to check it out, Gacharic Spin is the musicians you might remember from DOLL$BOXX (now minus Fuki plus Angelina 1/3) Mindset -> kzbin.info/www/bejne/h56vYYlsa5yEsKs

Vortex & Mediator are the only other ones with a video. Not sure if there are any more planned for some of the other songs.

the black and white intro scenery reminds me of Schindlers List when there was the girl with the red jacket setting the only moments of colour in the movie

The first time I heard Jinjer, I was on a mission looking for a particular sound, so I moved on quickly. It wasn't until I took Music Appreciation With Chase & Julia that I really discovered them. So thanks for that! Always a pleasure to see you, hear your voice & your thoughts. Love you, and best to the fam. The next time you're finding it difficult to Have A Damn Good Day try Lovebites latest video (on or off-channel) "Set The World On Fire" (Live 2021) kzbin.info/www/bejne/b2rdpHtsnqySbMU

Great reaction and analysis. Not to many reactors break down like this. Definitely react to the other two recent releases, vortex and mediator. I'm sure you'll be seriously impressed and blown away. Great job.

Unleash the Archers did a set at the Alcatraz Festival and the original livestream from ARTE Concerts dropped today. There is finally an official live video of The Wind that Shaped the Land, which is probably the best song off Abyss. You should check it out

Hey mate! I always enjoy your content and would have to say you're one of my favorite reactors, if not my favorite! I would love if you could do a reaction to Garden in the Bones by Periphery!

I just subscribed. Fantastic job educating the masses on the intricacies that makes listening that much more special. Being a musician myself, I have tried to point out the magic that musicians create for us. Most get it yet some look at me like I have 2 heads. Excellent job my friend. Wait till you hear the rest. ✌

@@ChaseCarneson My pleasure. Looking forward to when you react to Mediator and Vortex. The videos are fantastic and the talent this group of musicians possess has simply floored me. Jinjer doing Jinjer things is an Excellent phrase you coined there. 🍻 Cheers. .

great reaction, happy to hear you are doing well. ive always wanted to see you react to iron maiden, but most of their work is so well known it is hard to do a true first time hearing reaction. however, iron maiden just released a brand new studio album, shenjutsu. i have only had a chance to listen to a handful of the new tracks before bed last night, so i cant say which song specifically needs a reaction. id love a breakdown by you on any of them.

Hi so I never really made a suggestion like this but AWS just released a new song which is the first one since the singer Örs died, and I know that you reacted to them in the past so I thought you might like it. Also thank you for your content and also for not rushing with it, and taking your time, its a thing thats not talked about enough and I think its really good that you did talk about wanting to focus on your life since thats whats truly important.(sorry if I repeated myself, english is not my first language and im really tired but wanted to tell you this) Take care and have a good one.

I know its a borderline herculean task, but the head space you're in would be perfect for absorbing the Colors Live video from Between the Buried and Me. I must have listened to that album north of 500 times and it still surprises me sometimes.
