haha, yeah. They've had more drummers than Spinal Tap. This is drummer 3, Dmitry Kim. Drummer 1 went on to other things, #2 was injured, and #4 is Vlad, the current one. Dmitry prefers the work-life balance of working as a sound engineer, and has done mixing on Ape at Mystic Festival and Judgement & Punishment live in Melbourne since leaving the band.

Dude, Chase, incredibly enough, this was a friend of theirs just “filling in” for a while on drums!🤯 Their drummer, the beast known as Mantulin, was in a long hospitalization for falling from a 3rd story window. Yah, he fucking SURVIVED! Anyway, this is Dmitry just filling in for an album and tour. They give him 1 kick, a snare, a couple of floor toms and a pair of cymbals and say, “Do your best with this” 😄💪🏻🤘🏻

They used to have two guitarists, so it may be that the studio track was produced with the two guitarist, but when they went to make this video he had departed the band, so you only see the one riff being played. The timing of his departure seems to be during this timeframe, but I could be wrong. Maybe someone deeper into the history of Jinjer could chime in and confirm or correct me. I suggest Outlander (failure.color version) to see them with two guitarists. He was pretty animated on stage.

They had a second guitarist up until 2015, I am pretty sure this was written with him in mind but he left the band for an acting career. During live shows they usually have the tapping on a backing track, I assume Roman does not feel too comfortable with it, especially live. This, Ape, and Captain Clock are probably their heaviest songs. Ape has a good official video, Captain Clock from Resurrection Fest is okay, but the audio quality is not quite as good as in some of the other live videos (still a good show and performance).

I think this is my favorite song by Jinjer that I have heard. I don't listen to them a lot, but I like her screams a lot compared to others. I also recognize the technical skill of the band, but this song just had a more enjoyable groove than most of their other songs for me. The part with the guitar tapping really did it for me. notice no Napalm Records intro.....this was actually the video that caught the attention of Napalm and caused the head of Napalm to sign them right away

I rememer a few years ago, this was actually the very first song of Jinjer I heard at first I thought "yea cool but not sure is really my thing"... then soon later I heard Pisces and was like "Yes instant top 10 bands to keep listening to"

You should also try to check out an older song from them called Scissors, it's amazing!

You're right, its an older song. Someone correct me of I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure this is the song that got them signed. Also Tatiana has no neck tattoo... booyah.

Loved this video my man. You should totally do "silent life" by rivers of nihil next. Super groovy and a lot to break down musically
