Basically Filipinos are family oriented people that is why most of Jollibee's commercials are based on a true story. Not just to show how we value and treasure one another but how we always find ways to show how we care about each other. Thank you for sharing your reaction. Commercials with deep heartwarming messages is how the Jollibee brand sticks to the minds of consumers. For Filipinos, Jollibee is a special place where family bonds and relationships are build with friends and lovers. This is why a lot of overseas filipino workers would say "Jollibee brings me back to my childhood" . Of course, the food is also good. For kids, Jollibee is where their parents would bring them to be together and to treat them. These memories are imprinted on them. These comercials do not focus on selling their food. Jollibee builds their image so they can sell their products. Its actually a really effective way of marketing. You would always remember a Jollibee commercial.

that jollibee is an avenue for many stories of Filipinos. An avenue where those stories began, where else? Of course, at Jollibee.. That when their slogan says "Bida ang Saya"(Happiness is more important) which conotes affective resemblance of what Filipinos are generally. I have watched these commercials many times already, but everytime I always end up crying. And I cried a lot after watching you cry. Like you I havent done any sweet and thoughtful things to my mom eversince. Our realtionship is not quite good. Everytime we see each other we end up hurting each other's feeling so bad. And its too frustrating, like every after failed attempts of getting closer to her, there's this thinking that maybe i should let her be. I really miss having a mother who would listen, who would cry, who would laugh with me. I hope one day, I can tell her how much she really means to me. Im sorry, for the drama. I can relate to some of these commercials. I have a male best friend and we used to eat in Jollibee together when we were younger then I just received a phone call from him and he invited me to his wedding. The call took only less than ten minutes but it felt like the longest hour of my life. I controlled my tears to fall during his wedding. 😭
