Something you see so often is that Bo 100% goes on someones call, the moment someone says go in Bo is straight on it, where as Targa/Cabo/Saken always hesitate or do the opposite, which so often ends up in it looking like Bo is inting. Key example is that G2 game, as soon as Upset says dive and steps up Bo flash ults to follow the call, meanwhile Cabo is doing who the fk knows what over the wall and Targ is already running away.

Flakked Targamas was the opposite of dominate, their roles were to not int and let top,jg,mid carry. It’s how Danwan won worlds in 2020. Flakked’s strength was always stability and never inting away the game I.e(Rekkles Sivir 2023, Carzzy Aphelios at worlds). Targamas inting seems like having a bad week. The difference between the old format and the new, a bad week is only 2/18 - 1/9 games, a bad week now is 3/9. So you can’t afford to have a bad week.

In the recent C9 voice comms video, Mithy tells them “most importantly, if we’re making a play and we don’t call it off, commit to the play.” Targamas should have been communicating his intent, but Bo and Saken are both calling that they want to make a play top. Targamas goes in solo way too early, but I think they all hold some responsibility here. Their comms/calls are just so dysfunctional, I’m not surprised by the 0-6

I think it’s less the pro players around him and moreso the environment. All the regions play different from each other, and when you move you’ll generally get assimilated into it over time as you get further removed from your roots and set down new ones. Bo doesn’t play turbo LPL games cause he’s now 2 years into his LEC/EU run and 3 years out from his last LPL game.

That’s probably what happens to a lot of the limit testers who come from China and Korea. A lot dives that shouldn’t be failed fail in lec and lcs but look at the lpl and lck dives they’re always so clean. This comes from all the players believing in a play and being able to execute it but that doesn’t really work in lec and lcs there are so many botched dives and mechanical errors.

Targamas should legit be investigated for matchfixing by this point. That bot dive looked bad live but now with the comms it just can't be a missplay. He was told to just tank 3 times, said he would do it and then attacked the turret instead of the champion, making Bo go in and die. Cabochard is pretty good in lanning phase, but except the gragas game, he was abyssmal in team fights. Upset is kind of in the same situation, good lanning phase but subpar team fights, not as bad as cabochard though.

His comms are almost as bad as Targamas tho, he is mumbling stuff in French in the middle of a fight, saying he will hard commit to then walk in the opposite direction and stuff like that. It's propably fixable but I wouldn't count on it considering how long he has been playing. Cabo is alright in comms I think, his biggest flaw right now is not knowing how to play weakside and still be useful. I'm pretty sure that they won a lot in ERLs by just being better so that every lane was up 30 cs at 15 minutes and the game was over which propably won't work in LEC.

Im sure him and Bo would make a fantastic duo since Rekkles would probably actually listen to his calls. I do think hes getting great experience in the lck challenger scene since he it is his first split swapping to support. Obviously not right now, but potentially could happen at some point. You already have upset and Bo. Putting in a strong support would really round out the team. It would give them strong leadership and better play than what they have now.

as long as upset is forced to shotcall because he doesn’t have supports like hyli making their own plays he won’t succeed. Doesn’t even have to be him. He needs a shot calling support in terms of making things happen. It’s been proven time and time again. Adc is a role players play their best when they can focus on mechanics. Any adc in history that is a shot caller is an exception. Doublelift for example doesn’t count because whenever he’s successful he’s never been the sole veteran player capable of closing out the game. Adcs can shotcall when they have the damage to carry, but until you reach that stage it’s a hindrance to expect your adc to shot call in order to get to that point.

it feels like Upset is the only one willing to be like "Hey, what's the plan, do we turn/trap/chase... ?" and the rest are waiting for someone else to make the call. Bo is the only one making calls, but he doesnt do the follow up to that call. They dont try to have the team aligned on it, and what to do when they are contested on that call. You can tell all that when they go for barons and dragons. 14:57 this time, atleast Targamas says "doesnt matter, we have to do baron" telling him what to do, but the people defending are still afraid of making decisions or answering in case they are wrong or something? 16:20 the build up to this call was "we have to get baron to win", "LB is dead we have to make something happen, dive them on the spot" and as they run down mid 10 seconds before the dive "we have to dive them" and yet they were all doing something else with no comunication, no one pulled out of the call or decision. And Bo did what had to be done and force to try and win on Upset's call, it's better to follow a bad call as 5 than to have 2 people commit to a good call. They have to dive there or lose the moment LB is up. 20:30 compare that to Hily as maniacal as he is, you know exactly he is walking 1v5 and talks you into letting him int for pressure or something because he is "looking, You know what he is doing and wants to do.

Targamas' lack of communication is astonishing, he does not call a single arrow even, his team has no idea he is looking, and his mechanics are poor. Also in the G2 game like we're sieging mid and Upset calls to dive and Cabo is just standing over the wall looking????? Like if he just groups with his team at least he can block Naut Q and open up space for Upset or look for a dive or a chunk, what was the point of standing so far back in that play he did nothing
