Regarding Naji's minutes, some of the local sports commentators here in Dallas were speculating that he may still not be feeling 100%. The Mavericks locker room had some sort of illness go through for several weeks and hit almost all the players. Seemed to hit Naji a little harder than some of the others. He took longer to recover when he got sick. Who knows? Trying to figure out Jason Kidd's rotations can be difficult. Gafford!!! I love having Gafford on the team. Definitely one of my favorite players.

Luka was getting pushed around a lot this game with no calls. You should watch the full game sometimes instead of just highlights. He also has one of the worst whistle of all superstars. It’s understandable that he’ll look at the refs a few times. He also did immediately get back on defense that play you complained about. Luka plays through injuries a lot to help his team, which no one recognizes, so him being upset about being fouled regularly without the calls is understandable.

luka is at a rate of getting injured after every great game he play. im confused by ur confusion that he complains. he's been playing through knee and ankle injuries the whole of last season cuz the team doesn't survive without him. now that the team can handle themselves we can see luka is just getting injured a lot and choosing to take breaks unlike previous seasons.

@donmike2810 Jordan was right in place when the new plan came into effect. Detroit Pistons were the last team in can recall that won a championship on lock down defense. That was 1983 I believe. 40 years ago. They never altered the rules. They just called it different. Before Jordan if the offensive player initiated contact any foul was on them. Before Jordan you could only take two steps after picking up the dribble. Before Jordan pivoting on one foot then shooting off the other was a travel. I don't think the rule interpretation changed for Jordan but he certainly benefited from them. By the way the game is more popular which means higher salaries and more fans. It's not rigged so much as it is scripted. The NFL did the same thing a decade later and scoring has doubled in ten years. It is what the fans want yes or no?
