the lies of locke lamora is very lightly fantasy, you might be able to get through it even though you aren't in the mood for fantasy. It's more of a, the characters are regular people that just so happen to exist in a world where some people can do magic. also the audiobook is so good and so well produced! Either way it will be a great book to get into once you are feeling up to fantasy.

A study in Emerald is a Sherlock Holmes fanfiction by neil gaiman (He himself calls it that). The Sherlock Holmes Stories are also short Stories btw. Except for a study in Scarlet which is still under a hundred or Just a hundred Pages Long.

If you need to have it in front of you, maybe make a physical list so you can see what you plan on reading and get the satisfaction of crossing stuff off. You could also make it a game where you randomly pick books off it based on placement or number

Once again. I feel like if you're no longer interested it shouldn't be considered as a failure ;) Also! Katie!! Please please please do a video on reading the Heaven Official's Blessing series. It's such an emotional roller coaster but the first book isn't exactly it when it comes to hooking smb into the series. Fair warning though, it's translated from Chinese so the names are a struggle aka some characters have like two or three ways they are called by others and they aren't exactly similar sounding. BUT ibwould bet money you would like this series. It's so good and angsty and the world building is amazing and so is the romance. It's an eight hundred years of pining, I will burn the worl for you romance. It's so good!
