Humanities subjects have been so easy to get A's in. I've got A and 2 B's for Economics, Biology and Maths so I think I did alright :P

The amount of content in my History A Level was absolutely RIDICULOUS and I refuse to be told by any one it's 'easy'. Humanities subjects require huge amounts of having to think for yourself, and come up with abstract ideas / counter arguments whilst still maintaining your point. Depends how your brain works, I guess - personally I find humanities far subjects more fulfilling, interesting and intellectually stimulating!

This is such an achievement - well done Jack! I would like to say that sixth forms/colleges don't release the UMS for each module with linear subjects. You can ring your sixth form or ask your exams office. I did this and it really helped to clarify how I attained my grades. Please like so Jack can see this!!!

I honestly cried watching this because my teacher yeld at me that im literally nothing without her and that I need her and that she doesn't need me and that honestly brought me down so freaking hard. I've been getting bad grades sins but im trying to get back on track and I have GCSES to do next month i wasn't motivated at all because I feel worthless. Jack Edwards The cathedral and castle are a must if you like architecture (or music, sometimes bands practice in the cathedral. And if it's warm (in the summer) there's a grass area in front of the cathedral called Palace Green, people sometimes sit there having fish and chips or reading. Walking by the river is quite relaxing too and you can watch people rowing. I also really like a place called Wharton Park which is at the back of the train station. Not many students seem to know about that area so it's quiet. I'd give you a tour but I'm actually going on my year abroad so won't be in Durham for another year or so! But it's quite a small city so you'll be able to find stuff easily.

Congrats!!! This came in no surprise lol😂😂 But you just took 3 subjects only? Bcs I don't take A level so I am not familiar with it. In my country, we must take at least 10 subjects for our major exam.

I took 15 subjects for GCSE, then we whittle it down to 3 A Levels, and finally one subject for a degree!

hey! congratulations!! i've watched a few videos about people like you reacting to their results, and there's one thing I don't get You said that oxford and cambridge did not accept you, but you also told us that you've always been a brilliant student (at least that's what I understood, I'm French), so how come that they didn't accept an excellent student like you? what does it really require to be a member of their university?

If only I knew! They have very rigorous selection process, but ////certain//// people get special training for the interview process, which I never received, so I think I was always doomed when competing against them!
