I recently have graduated from university myself after struggling with a similar problem. Balancing university life was one of the biggest problems I've faced yet and was so close to the end so many times before realizing I needed to push through the hard times and get where I wanted to be. I managed to graduate with a 2:1, ideally I would have loved a first but considering how hard it is with the expectation of managing university life and a part-time job I'm happy it's all finally over and I can move on with my future. Crazy how many students go through stuff like this! Basically had a nightmare first year, failed my film studies exam and changed courses, struggled on the new course, and wanted to explore my options with dropping out of college when I turned 18 (so glad I didn’t). Decided to put my education first and had to quit my job but I’ve left college with a distinction and a place on my dream university course! So it was super worth it! I just wish there was more support in place for students with regards to other commitments and opportunities, if I’d been in the position where I couldn’t give up my job (kind of like how you couldn’t give up all these opportunities) what would’ve happened? But thank you for being so honest about this, it’s just another reminder to work hard and remember what your goals are!! Hope you’re enjoying Australia!

I can relate to this so much! It’s difficult to balance doing a degree with so many other commitments and you’ve done it!
