REACTING TO MY BGT AUDITION 13 YEARS ON...

I had a lot of requests to "react" to some of my old videos, so I instantly thought of my first ever audition. Although it was cringey for me, it was also an amazing moment in my life I will always be grateful. It was fun to look back on that memory. Omg Connie, you can't imagine how this reaction melted my heart. I remember when I was 15 or something, I was trying to learn guitar, and while sitting with my music teacher, I really wanted to show him that incredible video of a six years old girl singing perfectly and hitting every single note correctly with vibrato. I was proud just to be the person that is going to show the video, after a few seconds there was tears in his eyes, telling that you are a miracle, Connie. I remember this so well. It doesn't seem like it's been 13 years at all. Like the judge, it brought me to tears. I couldn't get through any of your videos without tears. I'm not even sure why, since no one else's singing has affected me that way. I know others have experienced the same and would love to know what they were feeling at the time. I've been a fan ever since. I miss seeing you perform on stage in videos. My favorite song is "Beautiful World". Do you still perform and make CDs? I have two of your CDs, but I haven't seen any others. I would love to see you sing this song for us next.

Not from a musical family yet she had the music inside her naturally. It's amazing, her ears were adapted at such a young age to hear her pitch etc. Beautiful really. I think why we cried is because of the authenticity, we felt her joy and love of what she was doing.

The Interesting thing was You as six were actually looking at the Audience response rather than the judges and seeing if they were crying too. What this is to me a Thank you Connie because you were the first young person to prove they have the same chances as anyone else. So many other young talented people have followed you since and your voice just got better where as most lose it. I hope you watch the other ones of being on BGT at six as the Jackson song was amazing for a little person to learn and sing not knowing the song proved a point in improvising too.

Oh my god I'm with you-- When I was like 7 I had to read my short story to an auditorium of people and I was so nervous I started giggling which made people laugh bc they thought that was cute, but I took it as them laughing AT me and ran off in tears. haha i hope connie reads this it is actually real: back in 2012?? smth like that i think, you came to hong kong to perform!! that time i was like 5/6 and was a HUGE fan of yours. while you were singing my parents spotted your mom crying in the corridor cuz she was super proud of you. afterwards your mom invited me to your resting room after the show and we took pictures together (i was sitting on your lap and i was ecstatic). you also signed my CD in front of me and i was literally the happiest kid ever and you inspired me to sing! (it started as singing pop but then now i sing opera because i loved when you sang ave maria hahah) hopefully you still remember me after all these years !!!

Connie when you speak it's as though you're talking to each one of us. You have such charisma that I feel I'm there in your room, sitting across from you as you tell me your life story. Or at least 2006. I feel we all know you so well. I watch your second BGT almost every day where you sing your own song 'Never Give Up On Us' . What a song!!!
