For me debut songs need to be memorable. People will always referring to a group’s debut song, that’s why it has to be impactful. Attention by Newjeans and Fearless by Le sserafim for example are great songs ! But not debut song worthy imo. If we have to give the most memorable debut songs, their songs won’t be first except for their fandom maybe ?

I think the most memorable debut songs imo are boombayah by bp, magnetic by illit, black mamba by aespa, dalla dalla by itzy, o.o by nmixx, crown by txt, eleven by ive, latata by gidle and drunk dazed by enhypen. I'm surprised that the recent jyp boy group debut song didn't make any noise even tho it's a nice and catchy song, jyp is known to take the risk and debut groups with experimental songs like itzy or nmixx, but they played it safe with nexz ig.

Sometimes people forget that NMIXX exists, in this year's CB they opted for each song to have different sounds and genres, they opted for 3 songs with mixxpop, and yet people say that only Aespa is saved from the 4th generation??? That double standard that the public has of wanting experimental and innovative music is annoying because when it comes to NMIXX everything is bad or strange or they simply decide to ignore it, but when others do it it's okay???

You can disagree, but Skz are obviously 4th gen leaders on the bg side. On the gg side, it's a bit more difficult to pin down because they're running a race and going back and forth in the ranks. Skz, though, have pretty obviously passed the other 4th gen bg's and are continuing to widen the distance.

Newjeans aren’t overrated they’re perfectly rated I can understand why some might not like them…but their music is honestly real music not just for Kpop they’re doing an amazing job there’s no need of unnecessary rap highnotes etc…
