1: I'd say it's because girl groups have broader appeal. They attract both male and female fans, whereas boy groups mainly pull in female fans. On top of that, girl groups are easier to market globally in terms of fashion, beauty, and trendsetting because they all play a huge role, and women dominate those industries. Also, the industry knows that female idols can be sexualised for mass appeal in ways that male idols can't to the same extent (or at least not as successfully). Every release a good number of the fandom always crusify the marketing team for not doing enough and not doing their all to promote XG. some fans complain we don't even have a streaming culture and complain about how the release intervals don't make any sense. but we always trust the process and trust our ears when we hear their music. Meanwhile, boy groups can weather scandals, lineup changes, even criminal charges, and still have diehard fans defending them and emptying their wallets...sounds like a certain someone...🤔😳 It’s not fair, but it’s how the industry works. 1. Id say girl groups can experiment with a wider range of concepts/styles than boy grps. So we can have more girl groups with storyline/concepts unique to them but for boy groups, there will be many similarities in terms of concepts, leading to a bunch of em putting out music not so different from each other. The other point remains, that boygrps mostly have female stans whereas gg have a larger range and number of both female and male stans. Ggs appeal to a wider audience in general.

Actually Jennie had problems with her ankle since 2016 and she broke it in 2020. I am an athlete and couldn’t run for 2 years because of this - total rest. I would excuse her for sometimes lacking on stage (cause she usually lacks only at the end of a concert - there are whole concerts uploaded on YT)

i spent £100 quid on only two items at ateez concert and this is my only qualm with kpop agencies is they know exactly how to get fans to splurge. the lightsticks are glorified lightbulbs with batteries but if we dont have one we get fomo and so we buy one only to use it sparingly and then pay more for "better" seats at shows than anything else and also every small bit of their merch seemed to be twice the price of its usual useage meaning you will probably use or wear it a few times and thats that. i just feel that even if you absolutely enjoyed the groups performances they still seem to make sure u overspend for what u dont get out of it, buying merch doesnt mean ur going to get ur faves number and a lot of them come from rich agencies anyway. the way fancalls are set up so people feel inclined to buy more than one album innorder to get into a fancall is ridiculous. i dont know why its got so much more greedier but at the same time im still glad i went to ateez concert because if they come back i wont want to spend so mcuh on merch again. all i got was posters and lightstick but it cost me more than my actual seat. :( u dont even get a special bonus like inclusion in the high five or some type of soundcheck benefit either. i feel that if they really want to make it memorable then let us raffle for a freebie every once in awhile wheres the harm in truing to build actually free connection with the audience? kpops so scared of not having attention that it seems to push higher prices on nonsensical shit and people lap it up anyway so they keep pushing the prices higher.
