Thank you! I have been recommending this ost for months! This is my favorite ost in the show, and the moment the Kokuten part of the ost drops is one of the most badass moments in the series. My next ost reaction would be all of the akatsuki osts. You listened to the group ost but most of the members have their own osts and there are compilation vids all over yt. If you just pick one, I would say Girei is the best/most unique to listen to

What i love about Naruto, that it was never black and white, all the bad guys had their background story, their own reasons and we could relate to them better. The manga was great, but the (canon) anime had that one extra special something that elevated the whole series to another level, and that was the soundtrack. My all time favorite is the ending creds of the first season of Naruto, with the butterfly and that iconic flute :) That one brings back some massive massive happy memories :) Altho Shippuuden is top of the top for me.

A lot of the background OST music, especially ones that a long running show like Naruto is, they make the songs fairly long but with enough "break" points in the song where they can use sections of the song in different scenes, and some songs like this one completely change tone quite a bit in order to be used in that much different way. Like, if I were to guess, this isn't a spoiler dont worry, they tend to use the slower acoustic guitar theme for Sasuke more often, and usually in slower moments. The rock portion though gets used once the action starts, so it definitely fits. You got a long way to go Luke but I can't wait till you get to Shippuden!

"Hyouhaku" aka "Sasuke's Cowboy Theme" really is heavily western for no particular reason (i mean... maybe due to association of "lone stranger" + "vengeance plot", but idk), but it is hard not to recognize and whenever it plays you know who will be entering the scene. While "Sasuke's Destiny" from the original Naruto is great for what it is, i do think "Hyouhaku" easily beats it as one of the most memorable themes of all Naruto. "Kokuten" while not as heavily associated with Sasuke (though still often played during battle scenes with him), is a very powerful piece of action music. Though i do believe that it loses to the OSTs of the original show such as "Ultimate Secrets" and "Heavy Violence", which are much more unique in the way they do action.

This is actually one of the weirdest character themes in Naruto to me. The old US Western feel of the beginning is just too dissonant to me from the rest of the show, but once the pace picks up its still really good. We need to do the Naruto main theme, and the Ocochimaru theme soon now that you have met him.
