Man....that second video you watched "Aerith being the most important person in FF history, maybe the most important in all of video games" Its shocking how much validity that statement has. How BOLD the writing was back in the day and the emotion totally hit. FF7Rebirth serves as a contrast from old writing styles of back in the day and the castrated writing of the modern era

i like the risk they are taking with the main plot. all the other parts of the game seem to be risk free, castrated, hamster-wheel type shit. kind of contradicts itself in a way.

The performance mode is actually unacceptable. It's the first ps5 game I had to play in the 30fps mode

@@comfybaguetteI also played SPACEMARINE in 30 fps cause of the massive graphical difference. I don’t understand why 3rd party games struggle with hitting the marks while 1st party games always have good performance modes. Image quality/ clarity and fps are the two most important things for performance I don’t understand how they allowed rebirth to be this blurry. I would take lower fps for more sharper games personally. Image quality seems to be my biggest turn off when poor.

Final Fantasy as a series effectively ended 15 years ago. 1 - 10 are all classics and worth playing. 11 and 12 are pretty good. 14 2.0 - 6.0 is an epilogue celebration of what final fantasy isn’t anymore.

Interesting. I feel the same way about Fromsoft now. I was miserable during almost all of Shadow of the Erd Tree. I'm tired of Miyazaki not even bothering to tell a story, and I'm tired off boss encounters where I have to dodge a dozen attacks just to get a single opportunity to attack myself.

I doubt you're going to find much of your crew here, honestly. Im neither a lover nor a hater of them. 10 was the last one I played. I enjoyed it at the time. I just haven't played any of the new ones.

It’s not just the story that’s terrible, the whole game is just a slog to go through, I’m not even a big FF7 fan, but Nomura, Kitase and Nojima did this franchise dirty, Kingdom Hearts fan fiction bad lol. If you want to experience FF7, just play the Original.

Miyazaki is incapable of telling an actual story with character development he takes the lazy way of having the audience fill in the gaps themselves rebirth is so much better than elden ring because the devs had the balls to not only write actual characters but provide real lore that leads to real answers and unlike elden ring it isn't filled with George rr martins obsession with incest
