So essentially what the original ARK was supposed to be on PC initially before they started selling dlc for early access, and Finally actually finishing the game and fixing bugs they've needed to fix since EA steam ARK. Too bad I'm not going to buy a game from Wildcard ever again thanks to their previous business actions. Good on new players though hope new players have fun.

The fact we don't get Ark 2 with the bundle anymore is already enough to call bullshit. They're just reselling us the game we should have gotten originally. I put 12.5k hours into Ark, bought every DLC and was a firm supporter of WC. Now I find it hard to ignore this cash grab.

This new plan of theirs is in no way an improvement over their original. First it was, "Here, buy ASA and get Ark 2 for free." Now its, "Here, buy ASA and also buy Ark 2 separately if you want that pile of crap." Wildcard is as extinct to me as the dinosaurs in their game.

After 8 years on Legacy Official. With all the news on Ark 1, Ark ASA and Ark 2. I left 3/3/2023 with no plans to return. I finally am released from bugs, timers, crashes and Bluescreens. I have my life back lol. My PlayStation thanks me for it as well. Proof is in error history. Considering the bugs and problems they couldn't fix on the old UE4 engine. My expectation of a better version with a new engine UE5 which hey don't understand are Grim. I have moved out of Wildcard and Snail games grasp. I won't fall again to the lies and the $ won't come from me. I have spent enou in Ark 1. Which will soon be wasted money.

Thank GOD this was announces. Modders modding in UE5 will be fantastic. I just wish they would decrease the price to 50 dollars. I’ll probably buy it either way and I’ll play it for days. I personally play on Playstation, so let’s hope it Ascended comes early.

Right now on Xbox they are selling ark ultimate survival edition for 49.99. Which comes with all the dlcs. So basically for the remastered, we don’t get the dlcs for free and we are paying 10 extra dollars for a graphic upgrade. Rip ark. You were loved.

I just want it to not be a broken game. I'm tired of the crashes. I lost my imprinted Yuty and 15 imprinted Rex's that I had for 3 maps and all my ascendant equipment after it crashed when I entered the Overseer's cave. I haven't played since.

Except it's $60 for a game we already bought that's getting a graphical update and bug fixes. I'm sure there will still be spinners and dupers galore because now WC will be testing out UE5 and not know wtf is going on. If they added a new story map and included it with the deal, OK, I'd bite. I'm curious about the contract they have with Xbox for game pass. Will Ark:SA eventually find it's way on game pass? Ark 2 has already been announced that it's coming to game pass day one

Consoles only can only get the 'new game', if the hardware is upgraded. Alot of ps4 and xbox players cannot afford the upgrades to the next models. So those players loose all there access. Thats alot of players who are now without a chance to play after August.

I don’t care about Ark 2 at all. I am however extremely excited for ASA and have no problem paying for the remaster. I have 3300+ hours on PS4 and just bought a PS5 so I’m more than ready for August. That being said, it is sad hanging out on the PVE server and seeing like 4 people on. 😢

Now, if only they could get rid of Snail Gaming stench... Another thing I dislike is Overwolf, last time I played with anything Overwolf on, it had some issues like resource hogging. Hopefully, that is sorted by Overwolf themselves. Also, I am not too excited about paid mod prospects. You really don't know what you are getting unless you try and let me tell you, there are far more garbage reskin/rename/stat adjustment mods guised as 'new' than actual good ones. Otherwise, I am glad they came to their senses. But please, ditch Snail Gaming if you can, Wildcard.

60 bugs are still too heavy, and they can say a lot when there is nothing to show. 40 bugs are reasonable because they can use all the assets from Ark 1 in Ark 2 Ark remaster, so they make it bigger than it is. I am a game dev by myself so it is not as hard as they say. But it's a good step in the right direction. Still not happy but it can be bedder!

Not paying for them to practice UE5. Work on Ark 2. Nice how much you still trust them with everything they promise, game will be even more broken. The real reason they're dumping ASE Official is to push the community into purchasing ASA. They need the funds to continue development for ARK 2 while keeping their shareholders happy. It's a bit of a slap in the face to the community who have spent countless hours building and breeding dinos, but it's also a reflection of the reality we live in. ASA is just a temporary bridge over to ARK 2, and will soon become unsupported once ARK 2 is released.

If you ask me, official was never worth it. What is the point of spending days upon days building up a base and your combat ability, just to have it destroyed in an hour because you have half a life outside of Ark? Then there's the end-game assholes who believe that being the "Alpha Tribe" gives them the right to own every server that they can travel to. What ever happened to having fun and being a community that shuns those who act like sub-human garbage? Official was always a cesspool full of these pieces of shit (pun not initially intended) because it allowed them to control people without consequence, subsequently bullying everyone off into another equally corrupted server where the same story plays out over, and over again, until everybody ends up on regulated Unofficial servers with actual legislation and executive power. As it is and has been, I'm very glad to see Official die! It brings me a special kind of joy to think of all the power-hungry bastards helplessly losing everything that they invested months or even years in... oohhh the suspense and anticipation is making me feel alive again...

I actually like tek, I hate blueprint Tek. I think the mobility tek gave us added an interesting dynamic. The biggest issues I want to see removed are mutation stacking and over capped items.

I hope that if we pay more for ark we can hopefully get a better ark which I love and i want buyable skins too because games aren't made like they used to they need money to keep ark awesome but I'm not setting my hopes up too high either. @@FilthEffect They are getting rid of split screen. Nondedicated/SP servers, which they are keeping, you are still tethered to the host. On Steam's version you can almost eliminate the tether in the .ini file or in the game settings, (you can't go into a cave without the host and the host will drag you in a cave if you are not with them) but on console and the PC version, the tether is really short, and you can't make it any longer. The only way to get rid of it completely is to run your own dedicated server or rent one.

I'm very far away from being excited to be fair. So far all we have gotten are just words, and an attempt to make themselves look pretty after they angered their community. We're still going to pay big bucks for their homework, and being how they are just learning to use UE5 I'm not hoping to see a less buggy game than Ark already is.
