To be completely honest, Ian has a really great voice for animated stuff. The frog movie was probably pretty lame, but his voice would fit into a high-budget animated film, too, one with a good voice director to help him reach his potential.

@@flckvanse that’s quite strange imo, Anthony’s voice has alot more rasp in it and ig that would make his voice more appealing for voice work but i think Ian has a way better voice for that kind of stuff, Anthony is way too recognizable and while they mightve thought that that was a good thing it completely takes me out of the character he’s voicing, Ian has a more neutral voice and i think if he’d actually went down the voice actor route he really would’ve went far in it, never heard that mf mess up a sentence once

Filipinos? I visited my family in the Philippines in 2019, and Christmas is similar to Halloween in my province. The kids/adults go from house-to-house receiving candy or money. Carolers go around singing and playing their handmade instruments that are usually made of recycled trash cans, etc. They also usually get money for their songs.

I’ve listened to that ERB so many times it’s unreal. I remember how hyper I got when I saw Ian and Anthony in it, and it instantly became my favourite one. I haven’t listened to it in a couple years but as soon as the ERB screen came up I had the entire lyrics rush back to me and how happy hearing it again made me was just amazing. Thanks for literally everything and endless years of entertainment and enjoyment to everyone in SMOSH :)

I disagree. You can believe it, but I personally don't think the voice fits. Ian sounds like someone's typical dorky next door neighbor friend. A villain that says they're redeemed should have a voice that sounds more like a villain but eh, to each their own.

I haven't seen the first one, or the second one, and probably never will, but it seems more like he was a mercenary/chaotic neutral/opportunist type of villain than a "big bad". Even then, there are hella examples of villains that have silly voices to make them appear more "crazy evil" than "cold and calculated evil". His VO fits well into a certain category of villain to the point that I'm sure it was intentional.

Looking back at these videos it’s crazy that Ian’s current look made him go from conspiracy theorist uncle lumberjack to Smosh Daddy.
