Managing expectations was one of the hardest things to learn for me, between my anxiety and cptsd it was very overwhelming at times, even if i could reason with it in my mind, sometimes i couldn't help feeling bad, one of the things that helped me the most was definitely meditating and learning more about philosophy and the art of letting go. I always loved everything playboy, i know i am 71, a boomer so to me it was always a lot of fun and entertaining. thanks so much Holly & Bridget for keeping it alive in your podcasts. Crystal is so very gloomy and negative and carries a very dense energy because she chose to do something she hated for a decade. As she was doing her podcasts she had a guitar signed by Hef right behind her, has never changed her last name and is still President of the Foundation she hates the legacy of. Everything she is doing is a contradiction. She is also blocking all followers who disagree politely with her. Hope she finds a good therapist and the proper medication that allows her to move forward with her life for all the terrible abuse she allowed. Keep up the great work ladies, a pleasure to follow you gals!! So happy life is good!

Holly, I was diagnosed with autism and the extreme disappointment is from not having the ability to not take things personal or not being able to emotional regulate. You may want to talk to your therapist about it because it can be connected to autism!! Hugs! Thinking of you!

That's interesting. Had a long-term friend who had narcissist traits...but always wondered if he was just on the spectrum. Could never quite tell if he was intentionally cruel or just dysregulated and impulsive. Could be really hard to tell sometimes.

@@ct6852 I am very high functioning, but have been a caregiver for others with autism and other disabilities, and what I have found is not that they lack the ability to feel but the ability to be able to understand others feelings or how they feel themselves and it results in miscommunication, frustration, and a struggle for those with autism to connect with others. I think if the individual is surrounded by people who show them love and patience and how to talk and socially interact then it’s not an issue. It’s when that’s been neglected that there becomes problems! Thinking of your friend!
