It's not a diabetes rank. It's two different illnesses. Type 1: pancrea is broken and doesn't produce the hormone insulin. You need to inject it yourself with every meal and every now and then. type 1 is for life Type 2: fat or skinny people with bad muscles, the muscles are too weak to utilize the insulin their body is producing. Common with fat and old people but also skinny people. You can recover from type 2.
