Scott is actually a Baritone - he sometimes even takes over some baselines (eg in Halleluja or Sound of Silence, when the base singer has a solo part). His vocal range is incredible!

Scott can sing low. He does the bass whenever the regular bass is singing. Check out their live version of Hallelujah from their Christmas Special to see Scott doing this. Reactors generally need to pause/comment a lot and use blurring or other video filters to react to their videos. Still may have problems. Recommend their 12 Season 3 Sing Off performances. These are their very first performances as Pentatonix.

Scott is actually a low baritone, but he has a ridiculous range, which is why you're used to hearing him sing much higher. He actually takes over the bass when Matt sings solo.

Scott takes over the Bass from Avi in Hallelujah. Of course he can go deep. He is a Bariton. In my view, he is maybe the most versatile (and most underrated) member of the group. He can go low, he can go high, he can do everything!

There's 5 people in that group, and they all sing as a group, Did you think as you mentioned that the person singing the intro part changed his voice to a man's voice, much deeper voice. KZbin's copyright obsession is annoying. Reaction videos promote the artists without providing the full song as a substitute for the original because they pause occasionally and talk over it. There's no need for blocking the video. It actually brings more fans for the artist. Coming across a reaction video and really liking the song means the viewer searches out the original video and looks for more songs from the artist. I know that's what I do. Ah well I'm trying to move to Bitchute anyway where they don't censor videos for speaking truth that threatens the establishment narrative.
