i came here to say that moomins are finnish. they have the finlandssvenska accent bc they didnt want to redub it. finnish. moomins.

I'm well aware of that the Moomins are Finnish (And Chip n Dale, Gummi Bears are North American) :) Thanks however for pointing it out to anyone who did not know.

For those who don't know, I want to point out that the original moomin books were written by the finlandswedish (finlandssvenska) author Tove Janson, and that they were actually written for adults. (I would recommend the books for anyone who likes to read though.)

Muumit are Finnish but still kinda Scandinavian thing. As a Finn I'm not offended if Swedes likes Momins. Tove Jansson was Finnish but his origins were Swedish. Scandinavia, Fennoscandia, Nordic countries, what ever you want to call it. Iceland, Norway, Finland, Sweden and Denmark. We may be different but when you look into the eyes, we are brothers of each other. ps. make videos more often, you are rising star!

Or reaction to shows from other countries? Because everytime i do things like this with friends, its always so much fun (and super weird) :D

Moomin was shown in the UK as well. I really don't remember it though. The Kalles Klätter-träd song sounds kickass. Anyway, a lot of the cartoons shown were from the US though so I guess not very exciting. There's a few very old British ones I remember like Bagpuss and Clangers. I think they were from the 60s/70s but still got repeated.

he already said VERY clearly in the video that moomin is finnish not Swedish. The point of this video is more so to show what cartoons were watched in sweden with their swedish openings. Don't be so pedantic about it. This is what most of us swedes watched as kids so the title is honestly fine.
