Based on directors's comment. this mv is based on greek myth about artemis the goddess of moon/hunt and her human lover orion the hunter. Artemis's brother Apollo god of sun was displeased with his sister falling in love with human so tricked artemis into firing her arrow to kill orion. Artemis in her grief, made orion into constellation. This song is about artemis greiving over her love. In the mv, the orbs circling around taeyeon are the constellations (orion)

The mv shookt me. SM finally putting more budget on Taeyeon's mv. There's a lot of version in greek mythology about their story but the mv is about Artemis and Orion. I think this mv tells the version where Apollo(Artemis' twin) was against their relationship so she tricked Artemis into killing Orion by challenging her into a game to determine who was more superior with the bow, whoever hits the tiny speck on the lake wins the game. Artemis didn't know it was Orion so she aimed and shot her bow. Once she realised it was Orion she was filled with so much grief and made him into a constellation. If I may suggest something for Taeyeon Tuesday, if ever you're feeling better and decided to do a reaction, she's finally appearing on Dingo Killing Voice and it's also gonna drop on Tuesday so maybe that? 👀 Hope you're feeling better now Sir Austin! The director of the MV said it's inspired in greek mythology, it's about how Artemis fell in love with a hunter called Orion but Apollo didn't approve it so he tricked her into killing him in an archery challenge where she had to shoot a 'tiny dot' in distance. Artemis found out what happened later and turned Orion into a constellation ( the 8 orbits at the end of the MV represent the 8 stars the Orion constellation has)

Hi sir austin, she actually portrays Artemis the greek goddess of moon,hunt and wild. The lyrics and mv also somehow portrays Artemis' myth when she fell inlove to one of her followers Orion(which could be the statue in the mv) but she was a goddess and she promised to be always virgin and not fall inlove with men. So it was kinda forbidden love and also from what I understand about the myth is her twin brother Apollo is jealous? or just doesnt want her to fall in love with a human could be why those golden arrows in the mv? idk but thats what I understand in regards to the mv and the myth about artemis but also the song could be interpreted in different ways. Its just that its really fascinating how the mv and the lyrics are somehow connected with the actual myth.(sorry for my bad english tehee)
