I’ll say it out loud since no one else will…Spencer’s behaviour is textbook domestic abuse; gaslighting, isolation from friends and family, negging, changing the subject when confronted, unable to take accountability. TEXTBOOK. Domestic abuse is not always physical, in fact the majority of the time it’s not. I deal with clients on a daily basis who are trying to escape men like him. I feel so sorry for Heidi rewatching all of this in my 30’s.

@@crystalann3766 I’m in Ireland, so got to watch them as a couple on Celebrity Big Brother UK. It was eye-opening watching them unedited, unfiltered, live, 24/7. I actually feel complicit in a certain respect; I was a huge fan of the show but the show thrived on the toxicity and unhealthy nature of their relationship. We all unwillingly contributed to it back then, I dont know anyone my age who recognised the abuse. The signs were so clear, and I wonder if the public narrative had been different would we have had a divorce storyline at some point because Heidi would have seen the support available from fans. Lots of questions, all rhetorical. I love Whit and Tim’s recaps but the situation Heidi is in actually is difficult to rewatch.

Lauren tells Audrina she's worse than Heidi and "you went and did this", you can tell there's something going on they don't come out and say. At the time, Audrina had a few appearances on talk shows right in the middle of this drama, she didn't know what was true and was letting her emotions show about the Justin/Lauren rumor. I don't know for certain, but I think that is what Lauren is referring to: Audrina publicly spreading false sex rumors about Lauren.

Tim The reason Lauren says audrina is worse then heidi - is because they both spread gossip about her. Audrina is worse, in this sense, in that at least Heidi denied spreading the rumour, and never said it was true publicly - while audrina actively and unashamedly went around telling everyone this gossip- and wouldn't even believe it was a lie. At least heidi agreed that the rumour she was involved in was false.
