I do love these guys, but they do jump the shark for us normal people sometimes :-) like mocking the metallic backsplash? As girls in a singles pad, in the new 2000s? Funny! But we all come from different backgrounds and different places. I just love seeing a happy couple together. And the way they met is so intriguing. Man, the show was really really banking on the reparation of this friendship being a huge payoff for them at some point. It puts in perspective a lot of Lauren’s perceived aloofness or attitude in certain situations. You can totally see in retrospect here her rebellion towards production’s efforts to manipulate how she’s supposed to feel towards people. It’s completely understandable.

Six Flags pro tip from a couple Jews (who might regret revealing this): they are EMPTY on Christmas Eve. Literally feels like you have the place to yourselves. I've watched MiC and Laguna/Hills since they started, I'm Aussie, and I always found the MiC kids were so good at resolving conflicts in the end (especially compared to Laguna/Hills). They always ended up having it out, then a real heart to heart and then let it go, even if there was always drama (especially back in the OG days. Now it's much different. I guess lockdown episodes add to that though). I was always thinking "aww bless". Except about Spencer. I never thought "aww bless" about Spencer 🤣 But he's grown out of being such a wanker now I think.
