14:00 hydrant killing kazu man makes sense as it was double reflected by the kazuya and key hit so 18 damage from key 15.6 from hydrant hydrant reflected by a 2.4 mod equals 37.44 which reflected again is 89.856 deflected by key and key adds around 18 to that so it should have been from 107.856% to 111.6% after hit

after rewatching the kazuya pacman clip 3 times i have concluded kaz reflected the hydrant but didnt actually launch it so it just became his property and had its inherent damage multiplied, the key then broke it and kaz got hit by both the key and the previously "reflected" hydrant causing it to do a shit ton of damage

@@Inabathtubuv no it has an inherent damage/knockback value that can be changed by reflectors before it gets launched. kazuya reflector just made it super powerful cuz the multiplier on that move is stupid

9:47 actually the side-b slide thing is something Peach mains have known about for a long time! When you cancel float you can immediately side-b to get the slide.

sooo, for those wondering what the 10:00 peach "butt slide" was XD its a tech called bomber slide, most peach mains know it but it has very limited use since you cant cancel the endlag, you can just move during it so its only ever used as a bait, you do it by inputing side b almost instantly after stopping your float

@@hunbi1875 Yup, and if anyone thinks otherwise, they can go look at. Steve, Sonic, Min-Min, and to a lesser extent, Sephiroth, Byleth and Hero. Projectile Zoning really is not that prevalent, especially compared to other zoners in the meta.

He reflected the hydrant but the hydrant was beat by the key, which increases the hydrants damage output even further….which is dumb. I once killed Pac-Man by getting a multi-hit on hydrant with Dk neutral-b.

Wouldn't it be Kazuya's projectile then? If he broke the hydrant, it's his, and if he reflected it, it's also his. Either way, the hydrant broke while the reflect was active, so wtf happened? The only thing I can think of is that the hydrant took a hit from the reflect, didn't break, the key hit the hydrant, which has a 2.6 multiplier on it, and since Kazuya already hit the hydrant, it just bypassed the reflect. Does that check out?

Hydrant does scale based on the move it gets hit with. In World of Light, if a boss hits your hydrant and you get hit with it, you pretty much always die even at 0.

The peach butt slide is called the cha cha slide and almost every peach knows about that tech like you have to ground float then unfloat and just before touching the ground side B and hold a direction either forward or backward and you'll slide in the direction you chose

I think for the pacman,-kazuya cursed hydrant interaction, mr. mishima reflected the hydrant but didn't do enough damage to actually pop it off the ground, and he reflected too early to hit the key, i think. so the hydrant had massive reflect damage increase, key nails it, and mr. mishima gets pac'ed it looks like the key actually stopped in midair while the hydrant reflect took place. this is a good and normal game. totally not still in beta.

Basically hitboxes (and I'm not sure about hurtboxes) smear into the next frame meaning there are always two hitboxes active; the previous one and the present one. That's why you get hit where they used to be.

For 14:10, i see the interaction going as such. Kazuya has one of the best reflectors in the game, being able to increase a reflected projectiles damage to absurd percents. (This is why samus v kazuya is pretty much a death sentence, since charge shot relfected is pretty much instant death.) However, Pac-Man's hydrant is sent launching based upon how much damage you deal it, turning it into your projectile if you hit it. And since the pac-man's key hit the hydrant as quickly as it did, that made it so it was the pac-man's projectile instead of kazuya's.
