The worst date I have experienced, I met this guy who had begged to take me out. I finally decided to give him a chance, and we went out for dinner. He paid for dinner, and then took me to play pool and shuffleboard. We had a few drinks, and he insisted on paying for everything - although I didn't like him paying for so much, as I feel that I then owe him something. In the end he got very drunk because he had bought so many drinks and shots, so when we went to get a car home he randomly punched a guy in the face and ended up in a fight with three guys! Police had to pick him up... Safe to say, I never talked to him again

Ages ago I met a guy through a friend of mine at a concert. I wasn't really interested in dating at the time, but he'd call me all the time and we shared some common interests, so I thought fine, I'll go on a date with him. So on that day he came with a bus since he lived in another city. I waited at the bus station and there he comes with a big flower bouquet, but as he approached me, I noticed he had a black eye... This was such a fun video! Here’s my not exactly embarrassing, but dating FAIL story: I met this guy at my friend’s house for a barbecue. It’s a bit awkward that he was the identical twin of my friend’s husband, but what can I say? He was cute! We had fun talking and decided to see each other again. I told him straight away that I had just ended a serious relationship and wasn’t looking for a boyfriend, just some fun. He agreed that he was on the same page, and we went on a few dates, hooked up a couple times, and (I thought) we were just having fun and enjoying each other’s company. But then things started to get weird. He started being more and more clingy and blowing up my phone, and at one point asked me “When do you think you’re going to fall in love with me?” I was shocked and said “Never! I told you at the start I was not interested in a serious relationship and you told me you weren’t either. I think we need to stop seeing each other.” He was totally heartbroken and said he just thought for sure I would fall in love with him even though I didn’t think so. He left me alone for a week, but then he started texting over and over asking if we could talk. I was busy working and I told him we had nothing to talk about, but he started calling over and over. I finally had to pick up the phone (while working) and he started CRYING and telling me we were meant to be together and surely I must see that we’re soulmates! I yelled at him to stop contacting me (I never raise my voice at anyone) and I hung up on him. He finally left me alone and I was relieved and thought it was over. I have bumped into him in my town 3 or 4 times in the years since then and he still goes out of his way to come talk to me every time (even if I’m literally holding hands with my boyfriend!) GEEZ.

Ugh some guys… I’ve experienced similar: came from a bad relationship with a narcissist and just wanted to free my soul by drowning it in some egoistic pleasure. (Got myself a kitty first but didn’t fulfill my inner loneliness so I went on a dating app) after just a day I found someone to hook up with at the very same weekend. We have been doing that another weekend and he than shoot his shot asking me if we are a couple. Not being serious but casually invested I said ‚yeah, whatever‘ (what could I actually loose going out with someone since my ex wouldn’t be a choice at all) after „accidentally“ going pregnant he became very toxic, I left him and am now bothered by him. „I am the father!!!“ and stuff in order to stick to me. I think if you really don't have a lot of money for a date.. tell the person that you want to go out with them but let them know that you have limited money and try and come up with something cheaper that you'd both enjoy to do (look up some cool ideas ahead of time) let them pick what their favorite is and go. And if they say they don't want to go out with you after you tell them you can't spend too much, well then, you didn't need to go on that date anyways..
